Im posting this to see how many different ideas are out there on non pain related punishment. Heres my top five punishments that I cant stand

1. no internet access for a few days

2. no wwe

3. any form of public humilation

4. being ignored

5. sleeping alone

1: sleeping alone (i hate that one and it's only used now in super serious cases after i ended up in a panic the last time)
2: corner time
3: no books
4: not allowed to call Master on the phone that night
5: lectures and writing assignments

Well for me punishment fits the crime, so no random list is going to apply probably, unless what caused the need for punishment is similar to the list of punishments.

For example, if my schoolwork didn't get done cause I spent all week online and was then to tired to do it the day before, yes,  being banned from the pc for a while would be effective, Or if I was punished for not keeping the bed the way he liked it yes sleeping alone may be effective.  However none of those would work for the crime for me, , if say the crime was driving the car with out permission,  or some other outlandish thing I can't think of off the top of my head, because we don't have a punishment dynamic.

1. not being allowed to ride my horse for a week, that killed - mind you my bum was too sore anyway [:D]

thats all ive got, its usually pain related.

All of those are good non-pain-related punishments.  Since I believe in a punishment dynamic in which physical punishment takes place rarely, I've come up with a few punishments that work well as long as they fit the situation in which they are called for. 

1.  Being too mouthy or not being quiet when instructed?  Duct tape.

2.  Adapting a non-civil, non-courteous tone when speaking...e.g. sarcastically witty while being derisive, non-respectful, name-calling?  Washing the mouth out with soap.

As noted, punishment has to fit the crime while teaching something about consequences for behavior.

Did the horse need the week off or did you get to lunge him? Because I wouldn't be too pleased if the punishment hurt someone else or the animal.

But if I get upset about something online, he's told me to cool down or he will forbid me posting. And going cme cold turkey would not be a pretty sight! [:D]

By far the worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) punishment I had was having to chop onions while sitting on a bag of loosely crumpled tin foil.  The punishment itself wasn't so bad as was the previous discussion in which I was made aware of how I had disappointed him.  I was crying before I had even taken the onions out of the bag and afterwards while I was writing an essay regarding it all.

Yeah, this is a good thing to explore. Some of us you can't punish by causing pain. We like it too much. Punishments should be, by definition, not enjoyable. The idea is that you're trying to alter a behavior...

1) Running on the damn treadmill. (Wait, maybe that counts as pain related.) IMHO, running has no redeeming value unless you're being chased.

2)Not being allowed to wear a bra for the day. (I'm super self conscious about this).

4)Keeping himself from me is the worst though. Not calling or texting me, not coming over, until I've demonstrated to him what steps I'm taking to correct the problem. That is by far the worst to me

I choose not to wear a bra all the time and frequently go ourt braless if it's appropriate to do so, but being forced to would make it a different thing entirely, however one time a dom of mine made me stay IN a bra, when I was dying to have it unhooked lol.

The worse non pain related punishments?
1. Being tied up where I can't cuddle up to Master (we have these under the bed restraints he ties up my wrists.)
2. No reading
3. No playing games with Master (video games)
4. Extra work out time
5. and probably sleep depervation. Master never sleeps but I sleep a lot or I don't function well and he likes to make sure I don't sleep much but thats only in severe cases

Oh and I forgot the best "Go sit down over there where I can't see you and I will address you when I'm ready" I hate that :(
