the word love used to make me unreasonably antagonistic. ive learnt since that i can love, i can love any damn thing i like, so long as im secure in that feeling.
its when you thrust youre love onto someone else and expect them to take full ownership of it that problems begin.
for me, if its reciprocated in some way, some honest way, even if it isnt love but something else then thats fine for me. i dont need to be loved by people but it seems i need to love or atleast feel deeply - it breaks down the barriers in me that would otherwise make me seem aloof and distant.
