Bush held hands with the Saudi prince.  There was a foofaraw about that one.  Now Obama has his own foofaraw.

Personally, holding hands squicks me out a bit.  But as a Jew, I bow before the bemah all the time, so that's no big deal to me.

but what's the purpose of denying what we clearly see is Obama bowing?

Lets say Obama made another one of his several rookie mistakes this past week.  That he thought he had to Bow at a King.  Don't lie saying you didn't do it...just say the truth...probably something stupid as usual with Obama. It was a probably mistake in understanding protocol.  Unless he really believes in Bowing to a Saudi king ;)

Here's another one of Obamas mistakes he made this past week during his "successful" foreign trip

who is Obama going to offend by visiting Normandy...NAZIs??? pssss  the only people who would be offeneded are pro NAZI bad guys and most died in the war ;)

Barack Obama rejects Normandy trip to avoid offending Germany Barack Obama, concerned about offending Britain and Germany, rebuffed strenuous attempts by President Nicolas Sarkozy of France to persuade the new American president to make a trip to Normandy this week.

I never said that he shook hands.  I said that he held hands.  I saw a pic, and Bush and the prince looked like schoolchildren on a crush.

Here's a Slate article about the holding hands.

I realize that you will slam Obama and praise Bush no matter what each of them do, but hey - try to recognize facts as they appear.  Please, just try.

Edited to add:  Here is a forum in which people compare Obama's bow with Bush's holding hands with Abdullah.  Evidently Bush kissed him as well.

was there any tongue ;)  An act of Bowing is that of submission to a KING.
Now getting to the actual substance.

I see so much has changed under OBAMA ;)  This article could have been written about today.  All you just need to do is change the words to there current democrats holding the positions formally held by republicans ;)

Which leads us back to the stroll through those bluebonnets. Regardless of what Bush really thinks about the Saudi royal family and its undemocratic ways, he—like any other modern American president—has a strong interest in assuring access to oil, preferably at lower prices. Similarly, a president might like China's rulers to treat dissidents more humanely, but he really wants China to keep buying dollars and floating the U.S. deficit. (Bush's commitment to freedom might be taken more seriously if he took action to promote oil conservation, and cut the deficit, in order to make us less beholden to the Saudis and Chinese.)
