One panelist said he didn’t even know Canada had troops in Afghanistan and another said the only reason the military could pull its troops out of the NATO-led mission was because it relies heavily for security on the United States." Id just like to say a big FUCK YOU to Red eye and fox news. There ya go I feel better now. Just happens that I was at the highway of heros watching four of our boys being repatriated..so Im a little upset anyway Lucy

.....rude, ill-informed and highly disrespectful of those who stand in front of bullets. If a Canadian show had ridiculed US soldiers in such terms there'd be much indignant commentary.......and rightly so.

I pray to the sky gods quite often, asking them to intervene and cause a pretty significant rift between the Canadian, British and US Governments/politicians that would ensure the UK and Canada are no longer willing participants militarily as it pertains to the United States' version of colonialism, ala the '' War on Terror. It was a "comedy show" with bad comedy. It was SNL with poor writing. I truly believe all Americans, including people working on Fox, appreciate the service and sacrifice of so many Canadians. I don't think we have better friends than our neighbor to the north across our 3,000 mile open border. What was said on that show was stupid and an apology was issued. What Obama said on Leno was also stupid and an apology was issued. I'm not sure what else should be done....although it seems that some liberals would not mind having everyone at Fox lined up before a firing squad, just as some conservatives would like to see the same happen to most people at CNN and MSNBC.

The guy said he apologised and thought that his comments were "misunderstood", so now Canadians are stoopid too....what a pratt heres from the news story OTTAWA — They bashed the Canadian military but an American TV host and his guest were forced into a strategic retreat Monday in the face of a national uproar.
