Status: offline 		She came around the corner last Friday with this look on her face, kind of a, shocked, stunned, grinning look. I thought hmmm, my baby needs a spanking. But.. she was carrying this little white stick like thing. I couldn't understand what she wanted me to do with it. I mean hell, there's no leverage or anything with something that small. Can't appropriately whip an ass with something like that. 

Then she held it up and wanted me to read it. In neat little words on a flat screen, it said.... pregnant. Can you imagine?

The doctor's office confirmed it yesterday. So here we go again. It's a big YAY, thumbs up, dance in the streets time even if it wasn't exactly planned to happen right now. We were shooting for later this year, but evidently, I shot and it hit the mark. Pill be damned.

She's the one in the medical field and says it has something to do with increased blood flow, but gotta tell you wow, the sex is good. No, no, no, good isn't the word. Absolutely fantastic. We were talking this morning and it's like... you can't cum that hard later on. Not sure how we're going to tone that down. I guess I'll have to issue some domly decree. Lol.

Anyone out there who has advice on BDSM and pregnancy, knows of a good site about it, drop us an email. I've been around this stuff for a long time but this isn't an area I'll claim any expertise. One thing I do know, BDSM aside, taking care of my girl just took on a whole new meaning.

Sex was the best when I was pregnant---in the later months I had to be on top, but it was awesome, and My orgasms always produced milk---so it was a pretty hot time---use your common sense about intense play and prolonged episodes, hydration becomes very important as does a balanced diet--make sure she replenishes--and if she isn't feeling well or is sick--don't whine,  this is where life supercedes selfish desires.

Status: offline 		Congrats and I know you will get tons of input from the people here on pregnancy and BDSM. I know from the outside that D/s is different if the momma gets "babybrain" (the higher functions shut down and all there is nursery decor and baby socks) and sort of refocuses her attention. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you mostest, but you aren't using her bloodstream and stomach to stay alive and grow. Chances are you aren't kicking her in the kidneys, lungs, bladder, or stomach nearly as often either...

Can't offer any suggestions from experience but I would like to offer you and your girl the very best of luck.  It's the best time, but only for now.. it only gets better and better from here.  Congrats!  And thanks for one of the better thread topics here in awhile.

You poor bastard.......

I cannot give any helpful pregnancy advice because all of the rules have changed since I was. It's a miracle my kids turned out to be reasonably intelligent, functioning, humanoids, given all the rules I broke.........cuz they were not created until much later, of course.

Status: offline 		I can only suggest that orgasm control is a great work out for the cervix that will assist later in natural birthing control and dialation.

*stroking the cervix, quietly, preparing it by getting a woman know know the exact feeling of 3in diam, vs 7 in diam vs 10inch can be a good excercize for training the cervix for it's shedding. 

Nothing is out of the question unless it causes extreme uncomfort.  Good sex up to point of delivery makes for a faster process anyways.  I can count 3 out of four times that intense orgasm was the cause of labor, so unless you have been told not to do so to avoid a premature labor, go for it. 

I don't believe in 'babying' a gal just becuase of pregnancy.  Like geez we've beein doing it for thousands of years in all types of environments.  The only no-no's would be anything that that interupts nutritional intakes or water, no electric play and no sharps or body mod that could cause shock or toxins to cause infection (or the need for the body to create antibodies for situations that are not necessary). 

Don't forget, there are women that carry firewood at 9 months pregnant who deliver within 20 minutes effortlessly and others that get foot rubs and manicures that lay in pain for 2 days.  Trust me, carry the firewood.  Do nothing that changes your regular routine (aka: do not take up horseback riding etc, do not stop lifting groceries all of a sudden because you are now a helpless flower).

Status: offline 		First of all..CONGRATS...Now for what you asked for 
  1. Expect emotions all over the place as her hormones race through prepping her body for this momentous event. 
  2. Pain tolerances may adjust and readjust almost from moment to moment. Be prepared.
  3.  Stick to the upper back with Thuds..and the bottom she sits on. Adjust positions as needed to accommodate the growing belly.
  4. Endorphins can help through the entire pregnancy and even with Braxton Hicks contractions (false labor), but take your cues from her.
  5. Watch constriction of joints, veins and NO BREATH Play.
  6. Expect at times to feel like the tables have been reversed.
  7. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate and use quick release for those bladder runs.
Good luck and always check with her obstetrician for limits.

As to what you can do, it entirely depends on how she feels and what her specific needs are. Go with her to the next gyn/ob app't and tell the doctor in detail what you enjoy doing and what you shouldn't do. Beyond that, it all depends on how she feels.

Me? I had severe morning sickness with both of them so sex was the last thing on my mind for months on end.

Status: offline 		Where as everyone is different the first trimester of andi's pregnancy were the Hardest for us and on at least one occasion it nearly ended the relationship.

There were lots of people who delighted in telling me that "It's Hormones, she's allowed to be that way" I will tell you this, and I still feel this way, No one has the right to treat anyone like shit just because they are pregnant.

As for Play, Very little changed. We didn't do any waist Bondage as we were both concerned with affecting the living space of the lil package, but sex, Spanking, Requirements all remained the same, I did however at times feel sorry for the girl and took care of things just because I didn't want her to feel she had too. If the dishes and things are already done then all she needed to do was rest.

The Point is that for all the things that will change much will stay the same, just be aware that she will be more tired than usual and things that didn't require much effort will begin to be more draining on her. Be aware that some of the things that you used to delite in may also not be something she is up for.

Craving can be weird, Andi had a thing for Peanut Butter, but we know a couple of people who had cravings for Dirt and would actually put rocks in thier mouth and one girl even put potting soil in her mouth and discovered the craving was better than the actual product.

Be Helpful. Do what you can when you can. Remember that expectations sometimes have to change when circumstances do.

Then again maybe this will be an easy pregnancy and you will not have to worry about any of this.

Oh and It's Okay to Cry at the Ultra Sound. I did. Fountains sprung from my eyes as I saw the product of our love. And then when the Midget was born and They handed him to me, and he became real, I discovered what Unconditional Love really meant.

If you want anyone to talk to about the Hospital Aspect of it I would be more than willing to offer my own experience as it was an amazing one.

I agree but apparently when we spoke to the Ob/Gyn he said it was VERY common, LOTS of women have cravings for dirt and many of them do end up eating dirt. I was Thankful that Andi just wanted Peanut Butter, Other Cravings she had were for Ice Cream and Bread and Butter Pickles

And I hear the pre-natal vitamins are hard to swallow and difficult to keep down if the woman has morning sickness.

and a good idea might be to let her know that you are aware of this, aware it is normal, etc. I tried to put up a front so hubby didn't think i was being lazy.
