To face book or not face book, that is indeed the question.
Look I like the new President. I am pretty sure it was a breakthrough way to run a campaign. My sister also says she couldn't live her life without face book...but now here's my problem.
How do I integrate my ;face book' persona enough to have all aspects of me on one face nook. If I added all my friends that I would like to add then there would be: students, friends of my teens, friends whom I teach with, clients of my therapy business and oh yes a few neighbors and fellow writers and yes of course friends from bdsm...ahh there that's the problem...my friends might want to male friends and then where would I be/ Outed? ? !
And here's another problem..I think I did try to join face book a while back bur it would not accept my name which of course is Proncess...(as there were other Princess's here on collar I typed in Prinsexx and thereby hangs the sexx).
Has anyone else solved how to solve their multiple personalities on face book?

I have a lot of personalities...and feel it isn't right to merge one with the other......
After all each one is unique with their own sets of quirks....

Would you want to be assimilated to the Borg???

I say, nay....
Let them each live their own life in as many ways a s possible...

You can limit your facebook profile. Certain people can only see certain aspects of you profile, depending on the setting you have for that friend list. Most of the people I don't really know, or am not a fan of them knowing my business, I limit them from seeing my entire profile.

I don't mix the two, I'm here and I have FB for work buds, "out there" friends etc. I just find it easier and safer.

Hi Prin, I'm not able to mix the two even though I am 'out there', I have to respect the fact that some of my family and friends aren't. CM, IC and Fet Life are solely for Reality and myself. Face Book is for my family and friends and while they know I'm a little weird, I want it kept that way, I don't want them knowing just how bloody weird I am. I'd also provide my ex mother-in-law with a valid excuse as to why she didn't like me other than the fact I divorced her son despite it being amicable and a joint decision

Facebook isn't supposed to be made for multiple personalities. It's not a kink site it's a normal bonding site to find people you know. There's no need to squeeze your kink in there, I doubt many people are calling themselves Mistress blahblahblah on facebook or whatevea. It's made as a site where you're really supposed to use your real name.

My sister just pushed me into getting a FaceBook page. Ugh. On the one hand I do love seeing my nieces pages but I am flabbergasted over the fact that they each have nearly 1000 photographs of themselves!! I realize that it is fairly common for people in their 20's to document every moment via their cellphone cameras... but dang.

I'm struggling to come up with my single profile pic lol.

Hah! I know what you mean, Camille. My son and ex hubby are on there, as are mutual friends and they have dozens of pictures on there - me, I have one. Admittedly, I was loathe to sign up to Face Book, so I faked my details on there as I wanted to exclude identity theft, which is something that is alarmingly common and yet, people continue to provide all their full details such as name, birth date, etc... When I signed up, the first thing my ex hubby said to me was, "I thought you were born on xxxx, yet your Face Book says something else, are you ashamed of your age?"

Ahhh FB, well If you share to much about yourself and this lifestyle FB will kick you off.

It is a free site and they take off anything they think should not be viewed, be it pictures, video's or chat.

They will not allow pics of mothers breastfeeding so any BDSM things you want to post will of course get you kicked off.

I have a FB account and just leave the BDSM world for here

I don't care to do facebook. But I did find this interesting blip which might make some people think twice about it.

Which means, if you have great photos, they can sell them or use them however they see fit.
