[/quote] Not all of us watch that crap. I have never watched either of those shows. Nor "Lost", "Desparate Housewives", "CSI", and most especially not "American Idol". Come to think of it, I have never watched any of the TV shows that seem to be wildly popular for whatever unknown and inexplicable reason. Never watched a Bill O'Reilly show, either. I have heard of NPR, and CSpan, but I don't listen to/watch them either. I do enjoy reading, but don't do as much of it as I would like to. Guess that makes me some kinda weird-o or somethin', huh?

Yeah. The President's father gets caught with a (single) joint, and it makes the news. We suffer under a (supposedly) ex alcoholic COKE user for eight years, and you never hear about it at all. Or maybe it's better to be like the GOP's "furher"... go doctor shopping for bags of oxy-contin, but still keep your day job poisoning the US with partisan swill on a daily basis.

So, it is reported Obama had a joint in his possession, so what, maybe he put it in his mouth and INHALED it, good for him, at least it shows he is normal and more akin to the likes of the people who look up to him. I have more respect for people that do as others do and own up to it than a person who when caught says they never inhaled. In fact anyone that states they have never experimented or enjoyed illegal narcotics, has either led a very sheltered life, or they are lying. I err to the people that have been there, and so have the experience to comment.
