Check the schools out thoroughly.  Make sure the school you pick is accredited.  Look at prices.  Get references.  I think for the most part, they are kind of looked down upon, but it may be worth looking at.

There are several online sites that post how others who took online college courses.  The ones I have read are mostly negative.  These colleges are expensive, teach almost nothing, and as already stated not accepted.  In my experience with online or distance education I would consider it a waste.

Nosathro, yes, I kind of got that impression when they started giving me the hard sell.
