thing, event, or something else that really 'stands out' for you in terms of turning you on to the idea of BDSM? Is there some defining moment that really clinched it for you in terms of deciding that BDSM was an appropriate choice for you? For me, I was just beginning puberty, and I heard the song, "Freakin’ at the Freaker’s Ball" by Dr. Hook. I remember really focusing intently on the words and what they meant, and it stirred something inside my soul. I was too young to realize it at the time, but I know now that I was verrry turned on by the message in that song. And although I was slow to get things fully pieced together, I searched in my own limited way for bits and pieces of BDSM that I could include in my life. For instance, I bought a pair of metal handcuffs when I was just 19, and had fun coaxing guys to use them on me. I had my first venture with anal sex when I was merely 17. I loved the idea of being blindfolded, and have always tried different forms of gags (as I tend to be rather loud) and went totally wild when a guy would pull my hair during sex, or slap my ass. I didn't get to experience a full, deliberate 'scene' until just over a year ago, but once I did???? That was the clincher for me! I started searching like a mad fool for more info, more experiences, and now understand much more of my desires; for which I've been highly ridiculed, I might add. LOL!!

I am not sure if it was any one defining moment but perhaps more of a series of events. I remember watching this movie when i was younger about a girl who had been kidnapped and eventually fell in love with her captor. I remember taking a slip and putting the waistband on my chest, a belt around my waist to make it like a mini toga and then serving my brothers friends with drinks.. probably making them uncomfortable as hell because i was only like 8 or so. lol And then i found in my friends fathers stuff a magazine called "variations" and reading about how santa tied up a naughty girl (adult acting like a little girl) and gave her spankins. There's young childhood issues that are too intensely personal for discussion here, but in school, I started a minor fad of spanking popular girls who, strangely enough, had no objection to being spanked. There has never been one specific event that I can recall. I do believe this is how I am wired. I was always a prolific writer as a youngun and I remember when some of my stories (to my horror and humiliation) were found by my father. He was disgusted, assumed I was writing about actual events and had me psych. assessed. My father was urged to allow me to continue writing. That didn't happen and my room was searched on a daily basis for writing materials, and I kept my thoughts/emotions to myself until I turned sixteen which is when I began acting on them.

I didn't know it had a name then, but I was dating a man that was what I would now call a Dominant personality. I cannot describe it without breaking the posting rules and this might get deleted since it happened when I was very young, suffice it to say it involved a bathroom and some very nasty little neighbor girls(we were all approximately the same age).
