Anyone else get annoyed at the "Men" who put up pictures from their teens and 20's and say they are in their 40's or 50's? Get real. If you want to post a picture, a recent one please...

Yeah I feel the same way about "women" who post the best face shot from 4 years ago before the got all that acne and put on a hundred pounds. I mean I understand Best Foot Forward but if you cannot even doll yourself up to look like the photo again then why have the photo up? Do you assume that when we see you we aren't gunna notice? I think my Favorite "lady lie" is the whole "Christmas or New Year" Photo Op. At thier Best Fancy Dress One day of the year and then for the other 364 sweats and and grungy comfort clothes. I met a dom once fairly quickly - we had good chemistry online and on the phone. We decided to have a quick coffee, impromptu. I managed to shower, pretty myself up, find decent clothes ... he showed up in a tshirt and sweatpants and explained that he'd been working on his house. Ugh.

Let's face it, when you put a picture up, it is not always just to "attract" someone, it is representing YOU. Most people are going to put up, one of the best pictures they ever took! I took care of the age problem, by putting my age at 98. I take care of the picture problem, by only sending facial pictures to those I am interested in. {Also, many of us can't put our picture up on this site for professional reasons}. I do plan to put up a few pictures of me that don't show my face, but you can be sure I will take them at my best angle![:D] Most people are just NOT going to put up their worse pictures on the internet, unless they are a serious maso. Happy New Year

Ok, is it all right to post the 20 something "disco days" picture in the shots not of the primary just because you giggle over how you looked with mutton chop sideburns and a full head of hair you spent 45 minutes getting "just right"? Stefan

Stefan Damn right it is okay! Put up your high school graduation picture, also! We all know many people "lie", "misrepresent", and "stretch" the truth online. Let's see, this is the internet! It is amazing how many men lie about their age! I know a male on this site, that I chatted with in 2002, {on another website}. He was 39 in 2002, and he finally RECENTLY changed the age on his CollarMe profile to 40. I would say his pictures are about 10 years old also, he is on here every day. I just laugh and tease him. How can we demand honesty from total strangers? If, after some connection is made, AND we plan to meet, then I might "expect" more.

Oops. Guilty of having had him think I was six feet tall based on my pictures. (I'm great with flattering camera angles) Imagine his surprise when he had to look down on all five feet of me. Come to think of it now...he didn't mind all that much. [:)]

eh...I just compromised and used a current pic of myself. It isn't me in sweats or me in a tux, just my every day wear!

Hense why most of my pictures showed me without clothes on, see I always look the same way naked. To be honest though mine were taken a while ago now, and i yoyo in weight bouncing up and down dress sizes and i really cant be arsed to take a new picture every 'time of the month' or everytime i get dumped and eat too much ice cream i figure my face is pretty much the same and if anyone doesnt fancy me when they meet me they dont have to meet me again and seriously it would be their loss because i have wonderful boobs [:D]

A guy I was seeing has a pic of himself from about 15 years ago on profile here and other places, sigh, I asked him who does he think he is kidding if he meets someone they will find out he looks nothing like the pic. He doesn't get it! Nothing I can do, can't throddle him, just pity the women he meets that are in for a big shock lol.

I thought at one point about photo shopping a picture of me to give a me dick the size of a 3 year old - I don't mean a 3 year olds little 3 year old dick - I mean a dick about 30 inches long, 12 inches in diameter and wieghing in the 35-40 lb. range. Thought it might be good for a laugh. But I passed on it. Uncle Nasty (still on the mend)

I find it weird that a guy would put up a recent photo of himself, then try to knock 10 years off his age. I mean, after about 40 it's usually fairly straightforward to place a guy into the correct decade of age, at least! Oh, and I got accused of putting up old pics of me on this site. Only took the damned things last week...sheesh!

Folks have no trouble finding me in public places, so I think my pictures are fine, though they are a few years old. I coloured over my white hairs then too!

The three best guys I've met online: One has a semi recent pic up and is everything he says he is. Honest and straightforward to a fault. Shame he didn't notice that I'm a damn fine woman as much as he's a damn fine man, but he makes a pretty okay friend. I saw some pics of him from ten and fifteen years ago after we met. He looks almost exactly the same, so I probably wouldn't have noticed if he had shown me one of those instead. The other showed me a pic from about ten years ago. He was honest in saying that is was an older pic, but when we met, he looked almost the same, only more tan. Still has the cutest boyish smile I've ever seen though! [;)] He's just as sweet, spicy, and naughty in person as he is online, which I love. And lastly, my dear friend (name omitted). What a wonderful man! The only pic I saw was the one on his profile, butt (lol) I decided to meet him anyway. He's sweet, charming, and, oh how did I put it? Ah yes, "Boyishly delicious". (Which is a phrase that makes him blush and call me a brat!)[:D] I don't know if it's a recent pic, but I'm fairly certain it's accurate...
