WTF. per him smoking. who cares? I dont have to breath it, so fine by me. Supposedly US culture is the best in the world, the only correct culture. We had well enough time to address the decline in the standard of living in the US. We get distracted into oblivion, anything to reduce any effort to reverse such. This is what colleges "inspire" us to do? THIS is investigative reporting? The colleges ought to be hiding and shutting down over the defective product we call "journalism". PaHunk, we used to have something called "O.J.T." (on the job training) in this country that worked extremely well! But, colleges and unis can't make any *money* from that, can they? So, they came up with "internships." They're the same as "O.J.T." only the colleges and unis get *paid.* Like I've said all along, many jobs simply don't "require" a "degree." Being a Reporter (or a Writer for that matter) isn't a "profession" it's a "craft." Having a "degree" isn't neccessary to become a Reporter. Years of reporting on early morning fires, accidents, politics, knowing policemen and firefighters and developing your own "sources" makes a Reporter. You know, "the things they don't teach you at Harvard business school." Look at all the "talking heads" on tv these days. They all look, dress, talk and sound the same! Cookie cutters. They all probably have "degrees" in "communications" or some misnomer like that. At least Fox News hires the pretty ones just to take the edge off. A hundred of them couldn't make one Edward R. Morrow.
