Two answers.  They charge because so many male submissives are too much fucking work even if they DO pay.  Secondly, they can charge because the world is full of suckers!

Status: offline 		Ok, wait, now I'm curious.  $8-9k a month isn't "independently wealthy" first off, unless you're living in a country where housing is extremely inexpensive.  It's $100,000 a year, before taxes.  I have no problem believing porn stars like Kitty Langdon or Cassandra Cruz make upwards of that.  But who's the highest-paid performer in the fetish industry?  I know of those two women because they've done some fetish.  The hypnodomme Isabella Valentine is supposed to make $250k a year, but she sells recordings, etc.

Maybe it's Ginger Lynn Allen.  She owns a dungeon in Arizona, but makes most of her money from her products and sologirls on her site.

I think Lynn has a point with her "must be doing something wrong" comment.  For most women, there just isn't that much money to be made unless you do penetrative sex.

Well, you get it into the right mutual fund, in 10 or 15 years you'd have enough to buy, say, part of Iowa anyway. That would at least be a start....

Status: offline 		I really think it's an individual thing.  I've never had a male Dominant ask me for money, in fact They often offer it, or gifts, and yes, these are turned down.  Over the years I've been offered cars, jewelry, trips, and cash if I would go someplace and just meet Someone let alone anything else.  Some of this, in my case, is probably the Dominant protective instinct and some think that is how one should take care of another, but in the case of female Dominants, not just being offered tribute, but in fact demanding it before even engaging in conversation, sounds like a scam to me.  Pro Dommes, generally, offer Their services as such, but those seeking only money slaves seem like just somebody looking for something for nothing.
