In my opinion this is the wrong time to join the Euro, it is a time where micromanagement of each economy in Europe would be preferred over macro management at the federal level which is inflexible and not really taking into consideration that different parts of Europe are being hit in different ways. My only argument with the project has been all along who sets the rate and what part of Europe are they setting it for? Standing alone is scary I know but we are British goddamnit and we go out in the mid day sun .. It could be worse we could be in Zimbabwe with a million percent inflation.
