Status: offline 		So... Condi Rice plays piano for the Queen.  I am not at all familiar with Brahms but it sounds to me there are a few flat notes in here.  Or is it just my innate left-wing leanings that makes my skin creep on seeing this vid?

Status: offline 		It's your left leanings, RL - the piece was well played, musically speaking.  Besides which, if anything was flat (I didn't Hear anything, but I didn't listen as closely as I could have) - it would be teh "fault" of the piano tuner, not the performer.

Unless she played the wrong key.  But I'll accept your assurance that the rendition was correct (and not extraordinary) and blame the music for leaving me less than moved.

On the other hand, it could just be down to your right leanings...

I love all this so called democracy and the myth that the rabble have a valid view, it's positivaly fascinating.
But then, that's just me. Ho hum, back to the Courvoisier.

We're all labeled all our lives for one thing or another...labeling is a necessity of life just to communicate. Each of us have many labels...but it is always best to get the particular label right.

I'm a modestly capable musician, nowhere near stage quality but I know my scales. There were no flat notes I heard. Slight synching issues, she was a wee bit faster than the violins at some points and had to compensate by being slower in others, and vice versa, but the piano was good, the notes were correct for the piece.
