Greetings,

i have two tats that are covered by wearing a sundress. They don't show unless i choose for them to. but most of my friends have seen them and that isn't a big deal. i do have pics of them up on a yahoo group page that i am a member of, because i wanted to show them off.

my Master is also planning on a brand for me, that won't be seen except in intimate situations.

i don't show my face in my profile pics, on purpose. i work in a grocery store and i doubt my employers would fire me because someone found my profile on here. However, i am trying to get divorced and my (soon to be) ex has 'found God' and has turned into a Bible-thumping maniac. There is no doubt he would try to have my son taken from me. As an ex-con it is unlikely he would get custody but stranger things have happened.

It is better, in my mind, to avoid the potential problems and keep a low profile. (pun intended). Also, keeping things discreet is one of my Rules set by my Master, a big reason not to show my face.

Lol, funny thing is the reason i do not post my pic is due to teaching small folk how to dirt ride and morality clauses i have signed in the past for race sponsors. Yet both these groups have seen my ink and it does not bother them in the least.

Being recognized from pictures on the internet is something I've never worried about.  I'm self employed as a general handyman.  In the year before I relocated nearly all the work offers I received had come through a gay internet site.  So overall being recognized and people knowing I'm open minded about alternative lifestyles has been proven a boom to me professionaly.

Yes, pirate, and as I said before, that newgrange tatt is great, I love spiral art, perhaps your positioning of it on three faces gives it that special something.

As anyone who looks at my Profile can see, I don't include pix of my face, but pretty much anyone who messages me can get a pic if they desire; this is due to my job, my personal life (only two close friends know), and my spiritual life (my Pastor would probably have a heart attack, tho his wife might be interested! *lol*). I don't hide any tattoos, tho, and it's never been a problem for me. Still, since everyone knows about one of my tattoos (and some kno about the other two), I do edit a pix in paint to "erase" the tats so no one can deduce that the beheaded person online is myself.
 
I also have MySpace and Facebook profiles, but they are sanitized for anyone who may be concerned; I fake my "real name" at those places so no one [I'm concerned about] will ever find me there.

I really have to say that it would not bother me that much.

I sport 12 tattoos currently and there is only one I really don't show out of choice for what it is.

I mean the way I look at it,if I have an office job or work in food service,I will put on a long sleeve shirt.I it's something like construction clean up,I'll wear a plain colored t shirt.

When they show if people ask questions I will explain them politely.Really thinking back it was how tribes all over the world identified themselves.

i'm not afraid of my employer finding me on any sites, it's a nightmare of a former dom who i'm more scared of finding me around, so yeah i'll share my pics if asked but i don't put them in general circulation.

If my boss called me into her office and informed me that my photo was seen on CM, I would assume I'm getting an invite to a pretty good party.

Because if you fire me for being kinky, you've got to fire the person who "outted" me as well.

i have one tattoo that doesn't show unless Master wants me in a low cut shirt.
Thankfully only a couple of people have ever recognized me.
I am on a couple of different sites and they didn't say which site i was seen on.......if said person would of raised a stink it  would of been the "pot calling the kettle black".

Master T and I cannot have our id's shown here (or anyplace where kink is)...we are closet bdsm'rs.  We are both professionals and could have our careers deeply hurt...well Master T's MUCH more than mine because my most recent job involved finding out how to improve old peoples sex lives...lol!  In a perfect world, it wouldn't matter how you screwed or if you did...in our society we are still considered "wrong"...but if it is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Sorry Just kidding, but honestly if someone you know or work with sees you on this site thats a defacto endictment of them too i dont think they will taddle and im fairly certain there isn't anything against BDSM in the constitution so I wouldn't worry. Unless you work with the vatican. then all bets are off. Because after cardinal law i really dont know what is and isn't against the rules with them.

Not at all... I work in a fairly public job, yet I have my photo clearly displayed. Not only one of my face but on Sir's and my couples profile I have one which shows a couple of my tattoos. My theory is that if someone from my work finds them on here, they can't really say anything because they had to come to this site for a reason, they couldn't just randomly find me here without trying, so more than likely they are here for the same thing.

It starts some very interesting conversations Aneirin , I'm sure you can imagine . The positioning and scaling was quite involved now you mention it (diolch) . I could have used a pic that did'nt show it , or my face , but that , as you know , would have been a step in very much the wrong direction for me.

I have a design for a tattoo, a continuous spiral line formed into a continuous band, but so far on enquiring, no one around here will do it, something about it not being prominent enough, as I want it in pale blue, woad colour.

I did have the design in photobucket and was going to link it here but on looking I seem to have deleted it, though I do have a psd image on a disc somewhere.

If I had any tattoo's, piercings, or scars that could uniquely identify me,  I would not have any issues with them showing. However, since several of my co-workers also frequent this site, them noticing such marks would not be an issue [:)]

I don't care what other's think, my involvement with this site or my interest in kink generally, I am open and comfortable with it. All about being true to myself, if I hide I learn nothing. If someone sees me here, what are they going to do, it is hardly illegal and humiliation is not effective with me. Humiliation only works if someone is scared of something.

Life is about being true to oneself, not pleasing an uptight dimwit other

Same here , It took me a while to find the man who did mine (the scale and lack of margin for error seemed to be an issue). as to the colour thing .... you can always get it skimmed after a few years if it fades. I really like the woad concept.
