Hello all just a question to you all (esp since you were all great help with my last one :))

Myself and my girl are bradening our horizins somewhat and want to now indulge in enforced loactation, as a form of body forming. My question is has anyone out there experienced this and if so what are the do's and don'ts, and more specifically any safety issues.

Many thanks and I hope to hear from you all soon.

MAMandSlave -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 9:59:48 AM)

My girl currently lactates. She does so as a result of a medication that she is on for nausea. It is the best side effect I could wish for. made her breasts grow a cup size and give me a snack in the middle of the night without having to get out of bed. So once she starts, then get a milk pump from the baby store to continue milk production...

Lordi71 -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 10:07:12 AM)

ahh yeah the drug is called motilium. My girl was on that too a few years ago, and yeah a very nice side effect. We have thought abt using that again but we are going to consult GP. Many thanks for yr reply, much appreciated!

You should know this before you make a decision...it is a process that requires a great deal of time and effort on an ongoing basis....so it is not something to enter into lightly. You mention that it is for "body forming"...I am not sure what you mean by that. It will increase breast size for the duration of the lactation. But you should also know that the breast will be forever changed by the process if it is undertaken for a long duration and will likely never regain their pristine pre-lactation form and firmness.

Lordi71 -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 10:19:08 AM)

Absolutely we have both discussed this at length, and it is a descision we are happy to go forward with. When I say body forming, I may have used the incorrect term, but it will none the less change her body. I agree it is a long drawn out process that will take patience and hard work and discipline on both parts for this to work. I had thought hat the daily ritual of pumping etc will only enhance my girls feeling of ownership.

thank you for a great response

You're welcome. You may wish to do a search here for lactation threads...we have had some really good ones.

ThundersCry -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 10:49:50 AM)

I have done this with a lady who was my Ma'am...some years back...

Its a huge commitment...but it also took me into some areas that I could not put into words...and I know it did the same for her.

She was in her mid 40`s and had never had children...

She needed no medication, nor breast pumps...that was my j o b...

Those that say it can`t happen are wrong -L-

Its an experience that I will always ...treasure with the lady...

Good luck and enjoy the intimacy...

missturbation -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 11:41:04 AM)

I started the process of lactation on my own more out of curiosity to see if i could than anything. I managed to get small drops but it was just way too time consuming for me to keep up for long. I did it without any medication, just through massage and stimulation. I stopped doing the massage months ago but still lactate drops of milk now.

ThundersCry -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 1:03:12 PM)

Now ya know huh!

Just think...when you sold off...ya may be used to feed an army! <g>

I used to lactate, as part of the process of having and nursing babies and all.  Yes, I had some amazing bewbage, they were huge and perky and GLORIOUS.  They also hurt like hell until my body regulated production.  The x had fun with them, while it lasted.  Nothing like getting out of a warm shower and being able to spray someone across the bathroom.  [:D]  But I never found anything erotic or intimate about adding this talent to play, meh, it's just me I suppose.

You may want to get some pure lanolin cream for the nipples, they can get sore and irritated initially from suckling.  Which I found out the hard way that this is way different than someone sucking on the nipples.  And a good sturdy bra for the increased size.  It's good to see that you guys are doing your homework before starting off on such an adventure.

IvyMorgan -> RE: lactation (11/21/2008 4:17:17 PM)

Sturdy bras are wonderful things.  As are breast pads for catching leaky messes.

I really don't find that much fun with the whole lactation lark.

Lordi71 -> RE: lactation (11/22/2008 6:12:40 AM)

well many thanks to all yr replies. All good stuff. Just hope I will eb inj aposition to help someone else now :)

We are eager to get going on the lactation front, and we have read through many sites online etc, but here is nothing like actual first hand experience or indeed first hand opinions.

So once more I thank you all

Sadly, that is true.  [:(]

Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" by La Leche League. I believe there is a section in there also about re-lactation or inducing lactation in women who have never been pregnant and are adopting.

I've been curious about this subject but never had a source on the process sited.  Thanks for the title.  :)

nhite -> RE: lactation (11/25/2008 7:54:06 PM)

there are herbal teas that help support milk production as well..      i think fenugreek was one of the herbs that stimulates the glands

oddly enough its tied into the sweat glands so the fenugreek odor comes out via your arm pits;  fortunately it smells like fake maple syrup

but yes lactation can be induced for those who have adopted babies (a smart back-up system for us animals actually!)

and absolutely get some pure lanolin   lansinoh is the brand i stuck with as i knew it was better processed than others (and its great for chapped lips as well)

WasHisPet -> RE: lactation (11/27/2008 5:22:29 PM)

I am currently starting the process. Have you tried the website Land of Milk and Honey? Excellent site, lots of information. Good luck on your adventure.

XaviersXian -> RE: lactation (11/27/2008 7:21:53 PM)

greetings to all,

Try the LaLeche league, midwives at your local hospital (tell them you are considering adopting if they give you strange looks), and almost any mother that is kind enough to answer questions for you.  When I was carrying, I mentioned I was pregnant with my first baby, and I had women throwing advice at me...one suggested I use raspberry leaf tea to stimulate milk production if my supply was low.

Once the supply starts, establish it by drinking a *lot* of water (the more water your sub drinks, the more milk she'll make) and pumping every two hours, around the clock, to keep up the "demand" (the body works on a demand/supply basis).

The boobs will look *incredible* while she is lactating, but, be prepared for "mummy boobs" if you stop.

If you decide that stopping might be the way to go after trying it, reduce the pain with hot packs, showers, paracetamol and expressing just enough to make the fullness go away (she'll literally feel as if she has boulders on her front...that surprised the heck out of me when it happened...I had no idea that my breasts would be *that* full).

Anyhow, I hope this helps!  If you both need anything more, feel free to shoot me a cmail!

well wishes,
