i dont remember raspberry leaf tea being for lactation but could be -- i do know its well suited for uterine toning

there are tea blends out there geared for lactation specifically.   although do be careful of herbal stuff if you have any plant allergies (ie ragweed etc.)

i lactated as a result of pregnancy and i will say that for me, there was increased sensitivity.  kinda like that full bladder thing in the morning.  so please play more carefully!!!   you're increasing the fluid content of the breasts, and fluid conducts sensation.   also it is NOT suggested you wear underwire bras if you lactating as they can pinch on the ducts and create congestion in the breasts.

i know it sounds weird - breast congestion?    once you feel it, you will never doubt it!    as i understand it, a non-pregnant woman MAY not produce milk as heavily as a pregnant one.   many moms i know who did this for adoption had to supplement their supply.

there are herbal teas that help support milk production as well..      i think fenugreek was one of the herbs that stimulates the glands

oddly enough its tied into the sweat glands so the fenugreek odor comes out via your arm pits;  fortunately it smells like fake maple syrup

but yes lactation can be induced for those who have adopted babies (a smart back-up system for us animals actually!)

and absolutely get some pure lanolin   lansinoh is the brand i stuck with as i knew it was better processed than others (and its great for chapped lips as well)

I didn't know about the odor from taking fenugreek or the way it comes out but from what I've read & been told, the rest is true.
As a lactating Mother myself, presently [:D] , I can vouch for Lansinoh lanoloin nipple creme. It's wonderful, pure, and not greasy at all. And It's great to know I'm not the only one who tried it for chapped lips!!

Mastitis

Sounds dirty and fun, but it's not. It's just one of things, along with long term shape, that you should both consider before moving fantasy into reality

For body shaping, a corset might tickle the fantasy without harm

Just an idea, if you go through with this, you have the best referral for info already (Le Leche)

Ugh, I don't see what the fascination is with lactaton.  All I remembr from lactating was huge tits that hurt like hell, and leaked like crazy, and a husband that couldn't keep his hands off them - so  much so that even my 4 year old picked up on his dad's new fetish. Evident when in line at the store, he reaches up and with two tiny hands, squeezes my poor abused jugs, right in front of the cashier, customers and god almighty,  and shouts in a brilliant mockery of his father "oooo titty titties!"

Thanks, but no thanks.  I was glad to see the end of lactating...but ummm, more power to those who enjoy it!

When I was trying to build a supply, I took fenugreek and although Master said he didn't notice the maple syrup smell, I certainly did!   We also rented a hospital grade pump through the La Leche League.

Although it's not kink oriented, there is some great information on Adoptive Breastfeeding & Relactation on the KellyMom website.
