I like to think that I take good pics... I've taken them for a couple people here that are using them. Unfortunately, I've also taken most of my own. I am one of those 'not very photogenic' people that the OP mentioned. *le sigh*. Anyway, neutral backgrounds are good, example, hang a sheet or something on the wall and pose in front of that. Use a sofa or something as a prop. Get a few shots with a few poses, the more shots you get, the more chance you'll end up with something awesome. Outdoors is a good place to take pics too. I love shooting around my neighbourhood and yard, and up in the mountains. All of these places are good for drawing attention to the subject of the photo, unless you somehow happen to end up with, oh... a mountain lion in the shot and you didn't know it was there. Although, if you do, chances are that you found out it was there pretty quickly. Anyhows, rambling and making no sense now. Hi!
