I know that this collarme forum is one of the biggest (and best) free BDSM forums on the net. But I was wondering what other good BDSM related forums (might be bondage, tease/denial, chastity related, etc) are out there. Any recommendations?

yes, I joined FetLife a few months ago. It looked like a really interesting site. I haven't looked at the groups yet. I struggled to find any way of searching for people of interest. I need to look at it again and see what I was doing wrong.

Okay, I have heard about this FetLife, and have just created my profile. Let's see what transpires on that site. I have had positive experiences here on collarme, when I was looking and now that I am not I'm still a fan. [:)]

Fetlife is fun but I don't like the groups much. The way the threads work is a bit too messy for me. But sometimes they offer a fun read. Only downside of fetlife (in regards to this) is that the recent activity tells your "friends" what you're up to. Every group you join, every post you make; no privacy at all. So far, I like CM's forums the best. The order they're kept in makes for easy reading and, since anyone can post is makes for a freeforall of lulz at times.

FetLife can be hard to navigate; I'm still learning. I recommend setng up your profile (or editting it) so that FetLife email is driven into an email addy you only use or this purpose. That seems to be the easiest way to find what you have writtten and read what comments folks have made. I also like their TOS. You get two warnings for violating them, and then you're banned for life. Very litle is prohibitted -- mainly flaming or bullying another member. candystripper [sm=pole.gif]

I am on fetlife, and lots of the local event news gets posted there, so I check once a week or so, but I would rather talk to my friends here in realtime. The lack of search function makes it hard to look for anyone on fetlife, and isn't that the point of a social site? Maybe LJ and the others work that way, too, but I don't use them, so am out of the loop.

There is no obvious way of searching for people you are interested in. I don't know how the website owner could have overlooked such an obvious core feature. I have been spending months on my own search functions on my site, shinykicks.com ...and I am still not near done yet. It is core stuff.

I mainly post here, I am on Fetlife, I post there occasionally if a topic strikes my interest. I tend to enjoy the discussions here more. I have a alt account, but can't remember the last time I even visited the site.

People have spoken very highly of the forums here and Fetlife in general. I was going to start a mydungeonspace account for posting literotica but I'm glad I procrastinated and have the option of going to Fetlife instead.
