I am not sure why anyone does what they do. The question is what do you want? For me i have to see the eyes and be with that person. On-line is not my style period. What do you want? Figure that out and then go for it. There are many types of people and not all you will understand.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that asking questions and learnin about a part of the lifestyle that I'm not necessarily into was such a bad thing.

I was just voicing my opinion. Sorry that you thought I was putting you down. No please ask questions, it is the way people learn. I just voiced my opinion, which is just mine. :)

Hmm... I really don't want to offend anyone here but I must say honestly that some of the comments I've read in reply to this thread soud surprisingly narrow-minded to me. Not everyone online are liars and dishonest. Yes, there are some and, yes, online relationships are not for everybody. For some, it just won't work. And that's okay.

I am, myself, in an online relationship and it's been almost a year already. I wasn't even looking for one when it started. I found a site, saw that some were doing this online. I was both intrigued and skeptical about the whole thing but I was too curious that I had to talk with different people to know what it was like for them. So I made some friends and it happened that one of them had many many affinities with me and it grew from there. We both live on different continents but that doesn't mean we can't be close in many ways...

It's okay not to understand it. I don't expect everyone to. But I think we should accept that there's not just one way to do things right and what works for one will not for another. To each their own :)

all of this is just people's opinions. I am sure there are good relationships that are on line. I not knocking it, and i don't think others are. Just some prefer face to face. Personally, i have no room to judge another's relationship, i just make decisions that are fit for me. I hope others do as well.:)

Yes, of course, I agree with you that those are opinions. I kinda just was very surprised to read some comments like "he's probably married" etc. He may be. Maybe he's not. Best way to know would be to ask directly others why they want it that way because there can be many reasons :)

And, of course, if that's not what one is seeking then that's okay too :)
