ORIGINAL: kdsub Now I am absolutely against the war in Iraq but as long as we are there we should go anywhere anytime necessary to protect our boys and girls. This includes Iran, Syria, and Pakistan. If Syria or any other country harbors combatants that are attacking US forces and refuses to at least try to suppress them then they are open to our retaliation. That's sad to read :( Those countries aren't attacking the US, they're saying they'll defend themselves if the US attacks them. That is NOT reason to pulverize them. Same with Iraq. They're begging us to stop killing them and stealing their natural resources, but the US keeps at it. The US has ruined Iraq as a country and as a culture. If another country has a method of killing Americans in America, and is threatening to do so, the US has the right to take out that method imo. So if Iran had a nuke and said they were going to fire it at Miami (or the US had reliable intel to that effect) then the US should blow up the nuke. What's actually happening, though, is the entire middle east is half destroyed and begging to be left alone. Very little capability to make war. Very beaten down, very ruined. If they do manage to develop a weapon, I won't be upset personally if they level a few states. The US deserves it fair and square. While they're at it, they should occupy the US, kill everyone in government (or police, army, or other govt jobs), install a puppet government that answers only to them, steal all the resources in the US, writes illegal laws giving middle eastern companies total control over US land, kill 1 out of every 40 civilians including kids, destroy American natural and man-made wonders, tell their own people they're the good guys and the US is the bad guys, and throw American dogs off cliffs. Because that's what the US is doing.
