Not really. Japanese and chinese share many characters.

When you choose avatars, there are several chinese characters in the TM folder. They are kinda related to bondage.

Seriously though, if you are looking for one single character, there is a very limited choice. And the meanings can vary according to context, so if you have the "roped" symbol, for example, nobody, even those who know what it means, will realise it is related to bondage until you tell them.

Preliminary advice.... Consult a Nelson's dictionary. If the giant blue book is wrong, some translators will be having problems :) To double check against native Japanese speakers with a sense of humor.

In your quest, keep in mind that the Japanese language uses a total of 4 alphabets, one of which is "Roomaji" (Standard English Alphabet Letters).  Because of this, most words are a combination of multiple characters, and may have more than one spelling, based on context.  So to find a single character for the words you are looking for may happen, but it may not.  Even in Chinese (which has one basic alphabet of more intricate characters), there are usually multiple characters per word.
