I get that swinging and BDSM don't go hand in hand and that some/most might choose to swing without bdsm or vice versa...

that really has nothing at all to do with my question, i just wanted to note it.  i need some advice.

my partner and i have played with this one particular swinging group a couple times, and i'm finding that i'm not comfortable there.  i don't particularly like the people, and it's been really not that fun for me.  trouble is, there isn't a lot in our area.  the party we play at, and one other club that we've both attended and not enjoyed seem like our only options, so it's tough to play in a group setting, since there aren't many to choose from.

does anyone know of any swingers activities in the Modesto/Turlock/Stockton/ Central Valley Califorina  area that aren't a thing where you go dance and take someone up to your hotel room if you're interested? Or does anyone even know where to look to find something?

I tried the popular swing website and a couple other things... but when i'm searching, i'm finding mostly swing dancing, instead of swinging.

He's antsy to play, but I don't want to go back to the same place again.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Here in Nashville, the local swinging clubs advertise in the smaller local papers.  Does your area have those little papers, you know, the ones that advertise the bands playing and other goings on in the area for the week or month?  Other than that, if you are just looking to swing, have you tried personal ads?

we don't want to play with just one other couple, or one other person... that's readily available to us.

we're looking more along the lines of house parties, or established places with low cost cover charge where we can go and play with a variety of people.

i have looked through the paper, and there isn't much of anything like that in there.

thanks, though.

We got involved with a group that had monthly meet-n-greet swing parties. They were in the NorCal area, predominately in the SF Bay Area but one was up in Stockton that we attended. I'll have to go back through my bookmarks to find the URL and I can send it to ya. It's ran by a really kewl couple.

You could start your own. Certainly there must be some people that you guys have met that you get along with so why not just throw your own private parties.

Situations like this don't appear out of thin air..SOMEBODY has to take the initiative to start them..how about YOU?  Sounds like the area you refer to needs it.

We've tried SLS and AFF with no luck... and neither of us have a space to play in, as I live with my brother, and my boyfriend lives in his RV.

We've tried the swing place in Stockton, and really didn't like it at all.

I'm trying to get him to go to Power Exchange in San Francisco, but the cover is expensive, and it's quite a distance to drive.

I just wish it were more openly accepted... so that it wouldn't be so hard to locate something.

I'm of the mindset that the right swing partners will make all the difference in the world.

I would suggest that you go to the local adult toy store in Modesto, I don't remember the street name but it's right by a Wonderbread Thriftshop.  On the way to downtown Modesto.  There are publications there that may prove helpful, they were to us.

Yes, finding the right play partners can make all the difference, if that is what you are into.  I would highly recommend SF, save up some money and make a weekend of it.  Play, hit the bars and fun stuff down Broadway, go to Underwater World.  Good times.    And there is always the option of having your own play party.  Keep trying to find a place that is a good fit, and good luck to you!

Go back to the first link, and click on "swingers clubs" on the left hand side.  There's some in Fresno.

PE is very much an aquired taste, there are lots of what are called "towel boy's" running around who are mostly wankers.  I like it because you have to chest thump a bit to keep your space clear of them but it isn't conducive to just relaxing.  There is a couples floor which does help.  One note on the cover, if you are going to go bdsm, and the chick is hot, you can often get in free.  YOU are after all, the entertainment.

You might try contacting SinfulCat in Sac, she deals with a swinger group here but again, that is a bit of a drive.

I am lost. Isn't Power exchange closing? I am pretty sure it is. As for Cat, she no longer does swinging parties. If you are looking in the Sacramento area, I know of quite a few. These are all adverticed in SLS. There is another swingers site that advertises parties, but the name slips my mind.

Have you as an individual ever swung? Or is this your first time...both you and your mates? This is one scene  that is completely controled by the women. BDSM and swinging can come together beautifully when all parties are ok with it.

There is a site called fabswingers.com and they have a list of clubs. It doesn't have alot list but it does list ClubKiss and arenaswingclub.com both located in San Fran. Still a drive from Modesto. As far as Sinful Cat I just received a notice this week from the EroticEdge yahoo group and Cat is having a swinging party tonight at her place beginning at 8PM. EroticEdge seems to have people from Sacramento over to the bay area so you might look at joining the yahoo group for more info.

The party tonight is actually a BDSM one. It is her first as Cat's house, so I am excited to hear how everything goes. :)
