It's good to see this shit coming out about McCain. I've loathed him for years, because I think he's one of the most self-serving, two-faced, transparently insincere little weasels in all of Washington. The man makes me sick.

The article was a good read but, reeks of Swift Boat in reverse....I have no love for today's McCain but it seems that a lot of it is a bit "out there" for a man
who has served in Congress for so long. Having never paid much attention to McCain until he became the presumptive candidate and then the candidate,
I am surprised at the information and that those people quoted haven't come out sooner.

R.S. has a rather unique tradition in their political coverage, Mark.  Get loaded, and make shit up.  This could be accurate, but I'm not taking their word for it.

I'm curious how the Obama camp will react to these sorts of attacks, if at all.

For a number of gubanatorial races here in Kentucky we had a candidate that was definitely an outsider. Definitely. Among his out of the mainstream platforms was legalizing, or decriminalizing, marijuana. Gatewood Galbraith.

In one election he was quoted as saying "If anything these two guys (in reference to the "party" candidates) are saying about each other is true you can't possibly vote for them. If they aren't true you can't vote for them either."

I figure politicians have a lot of "addictive" dynamics and dysfunctions. They have certainly mastered the art of saying one thing and then doing something completely different, and at the same time convincing those around them they are honest, trustworthy and stable. Isn't that exactly what addicts do?

I read a psychology study the other year, unfortunately I can't find it on the net but apparently politicians have a higher degree of psychopathic tendencies than the population at large (we all have some psychopathic tendencies). They are also very difficult to hypnotize which means they aren't open to suggestion and apparently that shows an unhealthy adherence to their own perceptions, even when those perceptions are deeply flawed. Overall, I remember the article implied that the last people anyone should trust to lead them, are politicians and anyone else who actively seeks out leadership.

dont be surprised its been all taken out of context to write an article no one has to read because we all know it bashes McCain. If it does anything it just goes to show you should always take into account the source when you read an opinion piece, its usually crap

McCain is certainly living in a glass house, maybe he need not
throw stones at Obama.

The Farnsworth House is in Illinois.
