Status: offline 		This isn't the kind of enslavement that's fun.  This is quite disturbing actually.  I mean I know I was kind of manipulated into being a slave, but I considered myself a submissive anyways.  But internal enslavement is the kind of thing a psycho would do...

Status: offline 		i like the cookbook idea, so i Googled 'apple pie'. There are 6,850,000 sites for apple pie, so without looking any of them up (i already make a mean apple pie, thank you) i'm pretty sure there are a few million more ways of making BDSM.
Not everyone is going to bother with internal enslavement as a whole, 'that's all i'm gonna do' sort of thing, and everyone who dabbles in it is going to put their own flair on it. Master A might only want to do parts 2 &3, Master B may only like parts 1&2. And i won't even bother to mention the SAMs and Brats who flat out won't do any of it that they don't want.  (See threads devoted to 'Why can't i control my subbie?') Like all the rest of the 'how to' stuff, take what you need and dump the rest.
As to the ethics of it, the REAL abusers already do this and a whole lot more that we ethical kinksters couldn't even come up with. So, arguing about the ethics of it is just a lot of typing, IMO.
Abusers will abuse, victims will be victimized and each seeks the other, with or without kink.

Status: offline 		It takes a pretty insecure person to need to do this as opposed to having them willingly choose to stay because you are worth following.

It also takes a sub with a low self esteem to begin with, one without healthy boundaries who won't say "stop this now, it isn't what we agreed upon" during the beginning stages.

And I would like to say that calling it internal enslavement is a prettified way of presenting it. The more honest thing would be to call it by its vanilla name, Stockholm Syndrome.

So, at best this is a discussion about providing some sort of 'hydroponic hothouse' that would juxapose you in some alignment of your best interest with mine, or am I just fuckin' stupid, here?

Status: offline 		What your talking about here is the "literal" definition of Internal Enslavement and these kind of tactics and processes are things I have very much argued against on a couple of threads.

Now, of course, I have also argued for Internal Enslavement in other threads, but I was arguing for the more general definition that people use those two words for which is a "powerful emotional bond from a slave to a Master".

I just thought I would make a point to note that distinction, because it would certainly clear up some of the miscommunication I see when ever those two words are brought up.

That not everyone who defines their relationship as involving "Internal Enslavement" is necessarily referencing tactics like the one's listed in the OP.
