Police on the scene refused to tell ABC lawyers the charges against the producer, Asa Eslocker, who works with the ABC News investigative unit.

A cigar-smoking Denver police sergeant, accompanied by a team of five other officers, first put his hands on Eslocker's neck, then twisted the producer's arm behind him to put on handcuffs.


A police official later told lawyers for ABC News that Eslocker is being charged with trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order. He also said the arrest followed a signed complaint from the Brown Palace Hotel.

Status: offline 		Tongue planted firmly in cheek....How racist can one get, the ABC network (Always Been Caucasian) targeting the Brown Palace Hotel?  They had  to be up to no good.  There could have been a vast right wing conspiracy had Hillary been involved.  For a while it was the Always Bashing Clinton Network.

Status: offline 		This reporting must be fictional, as there are not lobbyists involved with Democrats.  Somebody was obviously trying to create trouble, and that reporter should be held until they admit who they were working for.  I hope the cops did knock the shit out of him on the way to an undisclosed place.

The ABC team was covering the angle involving the alleged hypocrisy the Democratic elite was perpetrating with regards to alleged campaign finance reform. Those people caught on video were allegedly partaking in the very lobbyist campaign practices they supposedly were against.

Business/politics as usual in my mind. The politicians hate being outed like that and engage in whatever means they have at their disposal in attempts to keep their activities covered, including arresting some on a public sidewalk where the expectations of privacy are nil.

Maybe because the 800,000 police in America are:

A> spread out among race, SES, etc, and thus unlikely to vote as a bloc

and

B> aren't a large enough number to sway anything at the national level?

You seem to say they are equally spread out between the two main parties though, aren't you? That's all I wanted to know.

800,000 isn't  a 'voter base' that either party is going to track by number because it is too small.

And 'spread out' may mean equally divided in your mind, but not everyone suffers from such simplistic problems in their perceptions.

It would depend on what city they are in, if they are unionized, etc...

The National Fraternal Order of Police, only claims 325k members.  So there is no way to say if they would go one way or another, at least in my opinion.
