Only too easy to think you've been specific ... and find out you actually haven't! I'm with those who probably wouldn't have said anything to deflate him at the time, but would mention it later acknowledging My part in the miscommunication and clarifying My preferences for next time. For one thing, he may not have actually realised it was sweetened or he could have been fed a fib from the shopkeeper keen to sell!

As a sub, i very much want to know what Master's preferences are and i asked Him lots and lots of questions at the beginning! As He is the sort of person who chops and changes things like His sandwich fillings and dressings, i STILLask before going ahead and making or buying Him something. Heck, i even ask if He wants His baked beans on the toast or on the plate with the toast on the side as that changes too! For me, it's all about doing it as He wants it that moment in time. i don't mind asking but i do want Him to answer honestly.
