Men posing as women tend to be a lot quicker to get you into sex fantasies rather than chat about feelings, are cruder in what they call their naughty parts (for example, most women don't say "my cunny" or "my clitty") and have cruder or more descriptive ID's, like "DoubleDTits" or "DrippingGashHole". Also, if you're heavily into a cybersex scene and they suddenly disappear, it was probably a guy who finished up and went to bed.

If you are just into cyber sex, I hardly see where the real gender on the other end of the line really matters. Then the question is, are they a good enough writer to get you into some one-handed reading. If you are looking for real life encounters, then you should look into finding a local munch group, or play party to attend. Otherwise, you are just shootin' craps.

[:)] lol at littlesarbonn & Thadius & LaTigresse pahunkboy - Your pretty pessimistic, also you seem to think I am a man... I guess that would be ironic, a man pretending to be a woman asking for advice about avoiding them. The thing is I do want a real life relationship eventually, but for various reasons (including my shyness) I need it to be online in the beginning. Maybe I should be clearer about that in my profile...

They do it because they are sad, cowardly fools who are afraid of women and are looking for wank material. Yes trust your instincts. Any woman who is serious and sincere will understand your concerns and be willing to speak to you on the telephone or Skype or it's many equivalents, even if it is just for a few minutes to confirm her gender.
