The problem is not going to be solved by providing more wank material. The problem is deeper than that. " the celibacy requirement is not a matter of church doctrine. Rather, it is a discipline only formally imposed on the clergy in 1139, when a church council declared clerical marriage invalid. What the church has banned, the church can restore."http://www.theage.com.au/news/Opinion/Church-will-benefit-if-priests-are-able-to-marry/2005/01/30/1107020254938.html Sadly, a Catholic pedophile may use the Priesthood as an alternative to the phychological help they need. They often believe that the disciplines of chastity imposed on a priest, along with the help of Heaven will quell their desires. As we have seen, this doesn't work. The problem is, the current discipline of chastity deters Catholic men with more healthy sexual desires from entering the priesthood. A thousand years ago, entering the priesthood was about the only way a poor family could provide higher education to their sons, but today that is not true. There are fewer attractive reasons to enter the priesthood and it has become what it is because of that. There is a serious shortage of priests. Providing porn is not the answer. Since celibacy is a church discipline, not doctine, the occassional lapse in celibacy is not a mortal sin. The problem is that with fewer and fewer men entering seminary, the Church is not screening applicants. Lifting the marriage ban along with strict psychological screening of seminary applicants is a much better solution.
