I don't believe in giving money to anyone at all. Now I'm not even a racist anymore ? I feel like I lost part of myself. [for those humorically challenged I was trying to bring a little levity to the table, after bringing up the white slavers, really there are alot of families out there who; all they know is that she left, ain't heard from her since, and they have know idea what fate befell her, and it has been going on for a long time. Believe me when I say that this kid was lucky to get home. If he was really stuck there, he might've got picked up for vagrancy, then he's in jail, think about it] Also worth mentioning now that someone played a race card, white slavery is just a name, they want all races as long as they are hot, and good looking. They wind up being pretty much a schmorgasbord in a whorehouse. In time some are coopted into the system and go with it, and my opinion is that this is similar to the Stockholm symdrome. They become trusted, get advantages such as pay, better personal accomodations and generally preferential treatment. In turn, they help to manage the new recruits, who might not be as willing participants of course. So there are just a few rules in the end. When you get a check from a stranger, NEVER write checks on it or withdraw any cash until it is cleared. Inquire, ask and insist on an answer from your bank exactly when that will be. Tell you what, there is a slight chance that you could hit lucky. They give you a date, then you go get the money, a month later they find out it was no good. Once it is in your hot little hand it is up to you to give it up. Maybe you lost some of it or something. Sure, give some of it back but tell them straight out "You are the ones who fucked up here". You might wind up with an interest free loan on it, but don't "bank" on it. It is a very unlikely situation, but then it is only possible if you follow rule #1. Never ever get on a boat or any conveyance to leave your home country until you have done the following. Find out exactly where it is you are going FIRST. I don't mean find out first, I already said that, I mean EXACTLY where the first debarkation of whatever vessel is getting you there, where is it EXACTLY ? And is it a non stop, or do you have to transfer ? Call the local law enforcement there, if a US citizen see if they can find someone who speaks English. Talk to them and see if they know where the nearest US embassy is. Call them too. Hell AOL tech support is in India, it should cost almost nothing to do this. But when they get you, if you want to run, you have to know WHERE to run. Here's something, buddy o mine goes to Costa Rico, had a great time. He wanted whores and drugs so naturally he found the criminal element. He brought over a DVD from his camcorder and we watched it. He is such a fucking mutt. He's talking with one of the locals, but taping across the street. He would train the camera in on a hottie and say "How about her ?", more than once, the answers ranged from a very few nos, to "Might be able to" to "No problem". The way I figure it is that he made the mistake of letting these criminals know when he was scheduled to depart, because of what happened later. The day before he left they tried to rob him. He is stupid, but smart in some ways, he told me that the way they positioned themselves seemed to him to attempt to make him run a certain direction, which was a very dark alley. Well he went the other way and if he hadn't he might be dead. This is no heroism shit, this is fast running. Like in prison, never tell when you're getting out. Anyway, the plane ticket, have it sent either to your house or PO box. No having it waiting at the airport. Contact the airline and find out everything, the whole route and also, who paid for the ticket. And when you do all this, you could still disappear off the face of the Earth. If it is to good to be true, by virtue of that statement alone it is not. Sometimes the rule that is last is the one that lasts, so I will leave that alone. Living by the last one you would not be likely to be scammed. T
