My cat comes running if he hears the sound of me whimpering or crying.

In his old age, he's not one for loving the "lap-cat" deal, but, once he realizes his "mommy" is unhappy, he becomes a big cuddle box until I've settled down.

When my cats see me dressed as a gurl, they know they aren't getting any play time and leave us alone.

My cats seem to know when the cameras are rolling. Just when a videotaped scene is going good, they get in the shot.

OK here I am! Yes, Our 2 westies don't like play of any kind much, spanking least of all! If it's non impact, they spend all their time trying to muscle in to get the attention. However, spanking ... they're gone! When Master and i were first together in Perth in winter, it was quite cold so W/we would play in the lounge by the heater. W/we would pull the settee out into a different position so i could bend over it. It got to the point where all W/we had to do is move towards the settee and begin to move it, and they'd be off! They'd head to the farthest point in the house they could get to and stay there till all the nasty noises were over. Then they'd come out looking scared and need reassurance. Might be because W/we got them when they were already 5, they'd not grown up with this. Now W/we put them out ahead of time, it's kinder!

A previous westie wasn't scared, he just wanted to love everybody back to life. I had one lovely boy sub hogtied on the floor ... Raffy got out of the laundry (I suspect with a bit of help from the cat) and came running in and licked the poor boy all over, snuffling in his ears, the works! It was hilarious and delightfully extra torture (I knew the dog and sub liked each other, they would interact freely at other times). Hmmm now I'm wondering if this is PC since it involves animals

As to the cat ... she's totally disinterested and just sleeps through ANYTHING! But at 19 going on 20, who could blame her? In her younger days she was very much a sex voyeur though, and was known to love lying on top of whoever was on top and enjoying the ride!

The sub I play with has a cat, and the cat never had a problem with what I was doing to his mommy. As a matter of fact, he seemed to enjoy watching us and trying to join in on the fun. He is always in nosing into whatever you’re doing and probably thought our scenes were organized solely for his entertainment. He’s a spaz, and all the clothespins, dangling ropes, nipple clamp chains, and leather flogger tails were too much for him to resist. My toy bag = cat toy heaven.

I eventually drew the line when I had to save my rope from his claws one too many times, in addition to his jumping on my arm once right after I had finished using my knife in a scene. I didn’t have the knife in my hand at that moment, but it was enough to get him banished nearly all of the time now, and absolutely for knife play or anything else like that. The last thing either of is needs is him pouncing on my arm with sharp objects near any delicate bits!

i haven't seen the reactions of pets during play, but have had some very over protective pets who wern't even mine.
Where i use to live they had a German Shepard dog who was so lovely and cuddley, but because i was the youngest living in the house, i use to get picked on quite a bit, and everytime someone was shouting at me, he'd come over and give them a warning bark, if they carried on, he'd put his paws on their sholders and push them away, if they'd still carry on, or if they started getting violent then he'd bite them.
In the same house there was a cat called rocky and he pretty much lived outside all the time, the only person who he'd come in and see is me, and id pick him up, anD if anyone came near me, even to cuddle me, he'd hiss and try and scratch them.

that was at my ex's house though, i really miss them :(

My x had a pit bull who'd damn near attack you if you dared to hit joseph in front of her, she'd come very close to biting you. She'd snarl and bear her teeth and get real close to you an act all agressive, and you just knew one wrong move an you're gonna be dog bit or god forbid if you were shouting during an argument.
