Thats a list of the dozens and dozens of Texas specialty plates available. There are plates for everything from the 4-H to the American Quarter Horse Assn to the Special Olympics and all of our professional sports teams. Several Christian groups - including the Knights of Columbus are represented as well as a number of Christian colleges - Baylor, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian etc.... This is hardly new. If people want to pay the extra fee, god bless them Ill stick with the standard ones myself even though I qualify for a number of the specialty ones....

They announced on the local news that a law suit has been filed. See, that is the problem. One law leads to another one, and then everyone gets hurt.
What I mean earlier about the Republican right in the state is that it controls everything.
For the longest time, we could not dance at the beach on Sunday. We still cannot buy alcoholic beverages on Sunday.
Mega churches turn me off big time.
Remember who benefits from this licence plate, the state government. What I do not like is seeing the government use something as simple as a licence place to make money from Christians.
The licence plate is ugly.

I have no problem with it, provided they also have plates for other faiths to include wicca. Otherwise it is state sponsored religion and in violation of the US Constitution. We should all have freedom of speech as well as freedom of religion.

We've got "In God We Trust" and "In Reason We Trust"... balance.

If anybody wants to prove a point, i'll be glad to put my name on an a petition to get an "I Believe" plate with a picture of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (http://www.venganza.org/about), as long as i don't have to cough up any dough.

Well, thanks "buddy". I had no idea we were so close pal. But let me ask, I was the one that made the reference to it, wasn't I amigo? So, I guess I'm a little confused. Were you not the one that cited the 1st amendment saying , well I guess I don't need to repeat it, just scroll up.
