What's with all the complaints about stupid, angry doms!??! So as I peruse the profiles and look around, I've noticed that lots of sub females have become overloaded with mail. They also say that they get bitched out if they don't respond quickly enough, get C&P'd form letters, and in general are disrespected. Form letters? Seriously fellas, you can't write a few sentences off the cuff? I find this rather upsetting. First off, it totally destroys the beauty of a place like this; to learn, share, and get to know like-minded kinky people. Second of all, it must make the experience of hoping to get to know a dom rather unpleasant for the subs whose email boxes are totally filled with crap. Finally, those of us who are sincere in sending notes to others must get lumped into the masses all too often, which I really can't blame a girl for doing. So, to whoever you are that is doing this. PLEASE stop. We are all people here, and deserve respect. Yes, some get off on humiliation[:D] , but that doesn't mean you can bitch out anyone and everyone you write to. Maybe the play and the name-calling (for fun) will take place after you've gotten to know them, but until then no one owes you a damned thing just because you checked off a box that says 'Dominant'. I'll just say for the record (do we keep a record here? :)) that the good folks here, of which there are so many, need to stick together and keep these creeps from ruining this place for everyone! Have people experienced these issues?! Are there other ideas on how to put an end to this? Hollah if you want to end the Belligerent Dom Epidemic! Be well, D

Another amen from the choir. [8D] This is one of those things that should go into the instructional packet new users get when they sign up---before they're allowed to post a profile and message others. The male submissives are just as bad D. Whatever they heard worked one time to get a Dom to have sex with a sub is what they repeat, never mind what others with real experience and solid advice try to tell them. There seems to be a rampant belief among those considered 'Dominant' that respect is a right, and not a privledge. From the Ladies as well as the Gents. If we cannot treat each other with compassion and some understanding (it is not easy to tell someone you want to wear a diaper and be hung from the rafter for hours!!! [;)]), then, honestly, what is the point? I totally agree DiggityDom, and hope there are those like minded as well.[:)] B

Actually, I was feeling a little guilty, (or bored?) about never answering my CM mails. So, I did a test.. and wrote a nice, polite, "Sorry, but like my profile says, I'm really just not interested right now, Thanks though!" To a full page of random dom and sub men from my inbox. The result? 6 unread as of a day later, 1 saying something polite back, 5 subs that are saying PLZPLZ LET ME BE UR SLAVE PLZ, 2 doms saying that I am fat and/or stupid for not hopping in their pants... and 1 guy sent the exact same form letter he did the first time. Goes back to ignoring the inbox

Heh. It's not the form letters or spam that annoy me the most, though those do make me twitch a bit. It's the fact that seemingly 96% of people cannot be bothered to spell, capitalize, and punctuate correctly that gets me. (I understand that not capitalizing anything is some subs' way of expressing their submissiveness, but I can't see any excuse for that from a Dom.) If, in their letter, this lack is apparent, or they're asking stuff that is honestly not their business until they've gotten to know me some, or whatever, I'm not going to answer. I read everything that comes into my inbox. I've replied to...four people, I think. Of those, I won't bother to reply to one reply, two others turned into creeps, and the one I'm still talking to is nice, and the banter is fun. This isn't to say that I think all Doms are like the ones I don't reply to, but it's a significant percentage. I'm not so desperate for a Dom that I'll jump on the first person who displays interest, genuine or otherwise. (I'm young and new, not stupid. Amazing how many people confuse those things.)

I really don't see a shred of evidence that there's an "epidemic" here, and no more problematic than at any other forum. You only have to get bothered once. After that, it's a matter of Delete + Block and the self-control and consistency to use those buttons.

I have to confess that I am way too cynical for this place...I assume that anyone who makes their first post about how all of the mean doms need to stop bothering the innocent submissives as simply looking for a quick way to get lots of attention and on par with those who make their first post about the mean people who never reply, people who ask for tributes are hookers, and why do people look at my profile when I am taken.....to name just three of my other favourite first posts.
