I'm honestly glad you posted this so I Thank You....
I agree w/You on everything but the form letter, in fact I was thinking of doing a rant on it Myself...
I mean I've read many a profile from sub/slaves that state no form letters blah blah blah...
Now if you stop to think about it Men either Dom or slave outnumber the Ladies either Domme or slave by a ratio prolly somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 to 1...
So why in the hell should I take the time to write an elongated discourse to each of them only to see it get deleted unread???
I have a form letter that I send to each prospect in which I insert something that indicates that I have in fact read their profile, then I direct them to Mine which is in depth & has photos as well...
I also give them direct contact info the fact that I have a Cam & Mic so they can verify who I am should they feel the need as well as a VOIP so communications for Me are not a prob... That way they have a full view of who I am & can make a well informed decision...
I would never stoop to the level of bitching at a slave for not responding or deleting My e-mail unread, I just take the attitude screw her she prolly wasn't worth the effort it took to initially contact her anyway...
I think the problem w/our Lifestle on the internet is that we have the same cross-section of individuals that we have in R/t society, we're always going to have players, neer-do-wells, scumbags, mannerless assholes... The biggest part of the problem is there's no way to weed them out like in R/t, here it's so anonymous all one has to do is write a new profile & they're right back at it...
My thought is that if we're going to direct newbies to this site or any other for that matter is to remind them of the undesirables... They need to be aware, take everything slow, that the person you're truly looking for will understand & be patient till you get a firm footing out here...
