What stops me in my tracks?
Well...there are the physical things like how he chokes me out, or slaps my face, or jabs me hard in the ribs...
but I think the biggest thing is this look my owner gets in his eyes. It is only when I'm lucky enough to look up and see that look that my eyes get wide and I redirect myself as best as possible! It's as if the world stands still and all I can think about is how I ought to please my Master...and how much any potential punishment is going to hurrrrrt!

He tilts his head down and his eyes up, then this grin slowly spreads across his face, it's a scary grin. His voice usually changes timber as well, depending on how hard I am pushing. Usually all it takes to stop me in my tracks is him saying my name or looking at me a certian way.

i guess its when she's looking at some part of me very closely, tying to decide how to hurt me and space me out and she says "are you ready?"...stops my heart every time.

for me, its when he gets that slow smile across his face.. i immediately know that im gonna be able to make him happy by taking what he gives me.. when we're playing the thing that makes me stop squirming immediately is the jingle of the belt buckle.. god, gotta love that

when ive 'gone too far' that tilt of his head combined with the look in his eyes does it every time.. im quick to apologize and ask what i can do to right the wrong..

When Master calls me by my first name that will stop me cold. Thats the only time he uses my first name.

Being pressed against a wall with his hand on my throat and some face slapping completely puts my brain on hold.  I'm putty after that.

what stops me dead in my tracks is stepping in dog/cow shit...

how someone lets me know i've gone too far is by giving me a certain look, or telling me...

i'm not so dense that i need anything more.

So the question stands: what stops you in your tracks? or what has someone done to let you know you've gone to far?

The sight of my lovely submissive lady restrained with her arms above her head, the back of her body open for whatever instrument I choose. I have a vivid mental image of the first time I restrained her like that.

Sometimes, I get flip.  But, it doesn't take much to pull me back.  Eye contact and a deepening of voice is usually enough.  If its not, something's off.

Anything more, and I do the deer in the head lights freeze up thing.  I've actually been trying to train myself not to be so sensitive.  It's not something that's been working for me.
