Yes, there is an over abundance of Domme profiles on here which are seeking money. I have chatted with other sub males/trans about this and I am not the only one, by any means, who is finding this. Quite often the financial requirement is hidden in the profile text in such a way that you wonder if ou have read the profile right or not.

If you memo such ladies you usually get info back on how much they wish to receive - so, yes, they are seeking financial reward usually when they mention terms like 'tribute' or 'generous'. I have more respect for the ones who are open about the services they offer and the charges they seek.

But I'm with the other Dommes here in that we have to wade through "useless" profiles as well. The male "do-me" subs surely outweigh the money dommes. It's a free service...can't complain, really.

Yes, usually they have written 'War & Peace' prior to mentioning that!


*smiles*   I've written a pretty long profile, but I'm looking for a long term M/s relationship and not just a play partner.. and I'm not looking for tribute .

One of the other Dommes hit the nail on the head also though when she said that we have to weed through all the wankers and players... I don't have to dig too deep though, if they haven't ready my profile, it is readily apparent in their correspondence.

Good point and one well worth remembering. been there done that! My own fault for skimming a profile whivch if i had read it properly, I messed out on a perfect match for what i wanted.. Ahh well good luck to the bloke who collared her.....

I agree, however, I think it would be a handy button to have on profiles if CM put in a thing that asks "offering professional services" and then gave options such as pro-dommes, toy makers, photographers, etc, so you could filter by those options also.  The TOS states that any profiles asking for money* are not allowed anyway.  Flag em and move on.

*in terms of the money dommes, not pros, who are offering a service in return for the money

Status: offline 		EVen a filter would only work if someone actually said they were a money or pro. Like anything else those who wish to be shady about it would get around the filters anyway. The easiest way to filter for money seekers is to scan the profile. If it mentions words you have decided are your flags, then you move on. If you dont see them, then go back and read the profile.
Not foolproof, but itll certainly help.
Just like my filtering for no-limits when I was still seeking. I dont believe in that concet and I have often been very disappinted in the no-limits types so I didnt want to have anything to dow ith them. When I searched, then, I skimmed for that phrase, or a variation of, and just moved on when i saw it.

Do bear in mind, op, the nature of this site (it won't improve your search, but at least it may help ease the frustration we can all feel when searching!). There are huge numbers of ppl on CollarMe and it's a free facility; the site providers have done a pretty good job of making it work well and keep costs under control by automating as much as possible.

But maintaining automated facilities which meet the very varied needs ("wants" actually) of so many different users is tough. So things we each feel might be simple improvements can in practice be difficult and thus expensive changes to make (more sophisticated filtering for example). As posters above have pointed out, what initially might seem simple (cut out profiles containing "generous") can backfire in practice; programming is hard work. One of the common comments made here is "if you don't like CM just ask for your money back", which can help put the facility in context.

Add to the "mechanical" difficulties the fact that all human life is here and you soon find that - just as if you wandered round town - 80% of the population are remarkably stupid. (I think you'll find, incidentally, that a fair number of the brighter ones come to these message boards, so you have an advantage coming here! But don't worry, there are some very stupid ppl here too ).

All I'm suggesting is that if one approaches this place understanding its limitations, knowing you have a mountain to climb to reach your goal, it can make the journey less irksome. Add to that some of the clever tips and tricks already posted and your searches should be easier. Best of luck.

Since we aren't looking for other dommes, we do not come across their profiles ourselves.  However, the majority of the submissives that we've met in person from collarme have told us stories of tribute seekers they've encountered here.  Based on their claims, we used to joke that we were the only non-pros on this site--but then I found the forums.

Wow.  Spiritd1 gave you great advice, and you respond like that?  I've had great results both here and on Alt, and I do almost exactly what Spiritd1 described.

It's worth pointing out that prodommes and fetish models often have profiles here to attract friends, dates and potential life partners.  I've spoken to several.  It constantly amazes me that men believe pros are somehow incapable of affection and love.

There is no shortcut to avoid reading profiles.  If she says "tribute only," move on.  If she says she's a pro but the purpose of the profile is not to attract clients, then consider writing, if you think there is a connection on a vanilla level.

Status: offline 		I don't mind reading through each profile to find out a Domme's details, but what has been happening to me lately (just as recently as this last weekend) is that I'm being solicited from tribute-seeking "dommes" from places afar with messages that read "Send me a tribute, now, pig!" ect. Most seem to be random, as if they are just spamming every male sub on CM. Too bad there isn't a better way to screen those kind.
