pahunkboy -> Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 5:56:06 PM)

Gosh- I caught abit on CNN Nancy Grace, I tend to avoid her show as I feel it is a drama fest.

The pics do make one wonder- hulks sons victem?? I dont have the details.  A google search doesnt provide any clarity.

Anyhow-  stay tuned?  or no ??

In a paragraph [simplified] did anyone catch what the deal is there?

camille65 -> RE: Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 6:03:07 PM)

I think there was a thread a bit ago on this but I'm not positive.
There was something about his son being upset that he was taped while in jail.. and that is all I know.

i dunno about his son...but his daughter is hot and can sing!

That whole situation is fucked up.

Lockit -> RE: Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 6:13:59 PM)

I didn't catch it all, but Hulk is getting phone threats and he was wanting to clear his name somehow.

pahunkboy -> RE: Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 6:14:18 PM)

Grace showed some guy who served in Iraq, before and after.   He was all in good shape before, now a train wreck.  I guess it must be unfolding.  SIRIUS had got a hold of some tapes that I think are different tapes-  the audio sounded vile.   I don't usually get into the glitzy nut show thing- you know.

I caught these fake commercials on the far left -on Oreilly- ,  I am a clicker with a remote.   That was a hoot- some of the stretches thrown into the election,  he mentioned ; move on.org.

But then c-span could be morphing the other channels....  argh!   Im sorry.  I am all out of whack tonight.  :-)

Hogan's son hit the vet, who suffered severe brain damage as a result. Hogan's kid got 8 months for reckless driving. The vet's family isn't happy about that.

That does suck.  Tho- I am glad I am not responsible for every mis-step my family has made or vice versa.  How sad- to be hurt so young- wow. Ild be mad too.

GreedyTop -> RE: Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 6:31:43 PM)

No..John (the vet) was in the car with Nick Bollea.

(fast)

It is a tragic situation on both sides but that shrew Nancy Grace and the rest of the tabloids are not making it any easier for either family.

And no, while it may be a bit misguided, I am not going to begrudge Hogan's or his wife's feelings for their son, nor their efforts to support him.

The kid was not convicted of drunk driving, he blew a 0.3 far below under the influence and much further below intoxication. He was recklessly speeding in a car he was not able to control and another young man is paying for that recklessness. But the simple fact, that he father was famous is why we know about it. Hogan's son was 17, and I too happened to come across he show tonight. Her constant harping about the fact that Bollea was 30 days into being 17 and her faux horror over the fact that he had beer on a boat prior to driving beyond incendiary and I wonder why all the people on these boards who constantly critique FOX News, in a negative way, are on their high horses CNN and Nancy Grace. Bollea is paying for his crime and I am sure the civil suit that will follow against Hogan's money will cover the other man's medical bills and make his parents life easier but the bottom line is that this event was an accident. Rich 17 year olds driving cars too fast that they can't handle happen daily. We know about it because of who Bollea's father is. Justice under the Motor Laws of the State of Florida was served. Civil Justice will also be served before it is all over. How about moving on.

Irishknight -> RE: Hulk Hogan ? (6/17/2008 7:24:34 PM)

Fatdom, I agree with ya on this one.  I just wanted to add to what you said.  Poor kids driving too fast in cars they can't control happens daily as well.  Most won't have to live with the tragedy that this young guy will live with for the rest of his life.

They should have supported their son without saying it was all the other guy's fault for "being in the car in the first place."

The underage kid had alcohol in his system, drove ridiculously wrecklessly and now his friend is a vegetable. Also.....I have heard of lots of accidents and ridiculously tragic deaths, none of which involved famous people.

Six months in 'jail' is nothing compared to living trapped in a vegetative state for the rest of your life. This kid hasn't done this just once, he has a history of being a wreckless douchebag. He got off light. And he doesn't even care (as the tapes indicate). He's too busy worried about his reality show when he gets out than he is thinking about his friend's state of living death.

And he got into the car willingly.

I am sure it was a big deal for him to be hanging out with the Hulkster and his son, getting to experience the mansions, the fast boats, fast cars and hot women who surround them. It was tradgic ending that left Bollea in a coma and now jail and his friend damaged for life.

But this kid isn't OJ and shouldn't be treated like OJ.

Again, very very sad for both families.

I freaking adore Nancy Grace.
Once you start watching Nancy, you really can't stop hunk.
I think they are trying hard, to nail Hogan for buying the beer now.
It is a sad story, all the way around, and very interesting.

I have been watching this for a few weeks now, I can't cover it all.
