Howdy all! You know that the day is not going to be a good one, when you wake up in the morning and not only is the coffee pot no longer working, but the dryer has stopped heating as well. ARGH!!!!! I nearly have everything taken care of by now though. I have even purchased some "anti-wabbit" spray that might possibly save my green beans and peas. sigh

I think I'm a wee bit overstressed. Almost burst into tears when halfway through a day of laundry I discovered the dryer wasn't working. Took several minutes before I noticed I hadn't shut the door on it. I'm carless for God only knows how long. The transmission in the minivan died last night. Can't get a replacement one till Monday which means The Man is taking my car for a week's work out of town. His van died last year and when/if he ever has some time he was going to buy one a friend's been trying to sell for months and then spend a week getting it road worthy. I'm sharing his kid's Mitsubishi till then and I am not thrilled.

Des, Has the man considered a rental instead? Sometimes you can get pretty good deals, and he may even be eligible for a discount through his work.
