Thanks, guys! Yeah, Aylee, hiding pressies is the worst part of Christmas! Are you trying to hide the purchase, or the present itself? The year I bought my son's computer, I got hold of his mom in IL, and had it shipped to her mother's (gma's) house, so it was a true surprise. Hiding the purchase, as in the credit card bill...well, you're on your own for that, hun! That mad dash for the mail is always fun this time of year!

Lizard is getting some kind of computer device from her father this year. He says it does everything except washing dishes and get on the internet. He has it in a box where she has to work getting it open (small device, large box). I wonder if I am getting a present this year...(takes gift cards, yarn and cash) I was about to say tarn...I blame John Norman for that mistake... For the Cthulhu lover...we know you want to be hugged to death... I found a few patterns (crocheting) of Cthulhu. If I can get a decent camera, I can work one up when I get home...if I have the green yarns necessary...

When I was getting the pillow pets last week, my niece H saw the penguin one and has claimed it as hers. I had to hide it in my closet of yarn so the kids would not see them. I got them on my bed now and hopefully Mom does not get them out until Xmas eve. My SIL says that they have been begging for the pillows. I want pics of them snuggling with their pillows.

Well, I was close......I was trying "KTHUL-HU" Scared, huh? What are they, some sort of ogre, or a fae demon? I've read something recently with them mentioned as a character, but can't exactly remember what it was. The only new thing I've started reading is Laurell K. Hamilton's fairy series.....maybe something in there.

Lizard showed me what she hopes to get me soon. A figurine of Dawn, the goddess with red hair, with body so perfect, with chains and roses intertwined on her arms...wipes drool What was I saying? Ohhhhh...she wants me to have a statuette of Dawn by JML. $180 plus whatever... I think I just cream my panties...

Good luck Aylee.....hope everything goes well and it gets there in time......I'd get a picture ready tho.....of course, you could show him the pic first, get him all hot and bothered over it and then quietly set it up in the house after he goes outside or something......

In reality, Lovecraft wrote for magazines and the stories were just short stories. After his death, several people, out of love for him, edited all of his stories into book form. I got one of the books at home. IMO it is one of the best collection of his mythos. There are several other stories that writers wrote up, contributing to the mythos storyline. Heck, there is several products ranging from t-shirts to role playing games. I plan to create a Cthulhu dollie when I get back home (between projects).
