It's good to see Holly post again. Too bad about the power being out.

It's good to hear that Lady Rainfire is still thinking of us.

Today is a library day. i had books to return that were overdue. Thank goodness i didn't have to pay a fine - because i'm over 60. Our little local bus picked me up at the apartment office and has a regular stop at the library.

The weather here is light rain, in the 60's F, and kind of gloomy. i think i will take a nap when i get home.

it certainly is. at that previous place i only found out as I had let someone in to put landline in, so I connnected my broadband one evening. And whilst doing so I then discovered more and more crawling in there...and that was it. i made sure to move out NOW.

Needless to say I wasted deposit and rent but still better than to stay in there one single night. I am sure if the hallway wouldn't have the same coloured carpet as that infested place had and if my flat would have nice floors I would not even have such concerns...but as that simply is run down I am a bit edgy about it.

He brings his sleeping bag along...well...not quite sure if he will really get sleep there with me

I know that I would not sleep on those dirty old carpets

However, if he sleeps it gives me time to work on my dissertation

I am just glad that he will come over as he lives at another part of the country which isn't quite around the corner (he lives about 3 hours or so far away from london and I will be living an hour away from london, so he has at first to travel into london and then out again into my direction). I won't be there before 6pm so it is far from a joyful day or so, but he does not mind to come along like that next week saturday

This is hard to believe but Mom made me to go to bed. I waited until Brother M dropped off baby M to go to the hospital to see what was happening to H.

I did not realize that I was snoozing at the keyboard.

So...I slept for over 3 hours.

I really do hate the Fibro when it strikes like this.

I did not hear Mom and baby M fighting to go lay down for a nap...LOL!!

just so you know how merlin is doing at his home...the sister from his new owner wrote me today:

"little merlin...now henry truffle...is growing and now sleeps curled up with the dog!!"

I think Henry Truffle is an incredible cute name...absolutely love it and might nick it one day for my next kitten

their dog is a staffordshire bull terrier where I have to say that this lil man is much braver than I would be

So Holly has no power due to a semi taking out the lines, and now they've got tornado warnings up for Pittsburgh. Could be a while before she's back online. God only knows what she's up to without a computer to keep her busy. Hopefully she isn't going near the basement again.

I am doing okay. Butterhead has some sort of virus. She went to the doctor on Wednesday and has lost 3 pounds since the "bat visit" in August (which is 10% of her weight). They took some blood (the nurse about fainted) and we still need to get a pee test for her. The blood work is not showing anemia but is showing that she has a virus. She is a bit pitiful right now.

I know that I told the other half that he needed to stop breaking the appliances when I went out of town. I did not mean that he needed to start breaking Butterhead instead.

Good Morning, Aylee! Has Butterhead been drinking lots of water and peeing a lot? One of my grands was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 4 after she lost some weight and was drinking a lot of water and peeing a lot.
