Ok, it's totally understandable to read profiles from people burned out from being harrashed, or bitching about people not reading there profiles. Totally understandable, where the Jaded attitude comes from. However.... When it reaches the point somebody is so jaded that it becomes mindless... Wow. I actually read a jaded profile a few momemts ago, she had a stick up her ass about people adding her to her favorites without first asking. I don't mean friends list, I mean Favorities. Now, I don't know how everybody uses their favorites. I tend to add friends and people I think I might be interested in responding to. It's basically, my own private book mark. There's a reason why somebody does not have to Approve you adding them to your Favorites. A Reason why Approval for Adding as Friend. Anyways, reading her rant, I'm thinking to myself. Wow, this Girls mind has totally fallen off the face of reality some. She's digressed to the point her Attitude has over taken something called common sense and logic. Trust me, I would be the last guy ever to respond to her profile! Think I'll pass, and if she ever to write to me... well, I think I might have to politely say thank you, but no thanks I'm not interested. I totally understand people getting frustrated or feedup, that's a given for being on a website such as this. Everybody goes through this shit. In many ways, CM is not very different from all the Vanilla Dating sites, with Wanker, Fakes, Married Cheaters, and Web Cam girls and the complete nine yards. Think it reaches a point through when either one simply get's it or their minds go over the deep end a little too far... to the point that simple normal things they don't understand nor deal with well. They actually shoot themselves in the foot, and well scare anybody decent away from them in the process.

You never can know just what motivates folks to do what they do. i have a very weird manor of dealing with my account, and it's been it's own little evolution.

Well, I reject people who want to put me on their friends list when I havent even talked to them. They have a favorites category for bookmarking. Even though I dont add people as friends without actually e-mailing with them or knowing them from the forums, I would hardly say I have a stick up my butt. Oh wait maybe a stick would feel really goooooood?[8D]

I am fine with folks bookmarking me, I figure they want to look at a shiny corset pic! Lots of them haven't even perved my whole profile, so what other reason would there be? I totally LOL at the ones who complain that the gender they do not seek is perving them~~like the little dyke girl who is posed like a girls gone wild outtake! Um, HELLO? Teenage tit shot? Did you NOT want people to look?

See, there's an implication that somehow they know you, or have talked with you enough that they really like you to add you to their favourites, even if they've never said "boo" to you. I'm a little uncomfortable with it as well as people who ask to be on my friends list that I don't know. I'm with Luscious - I only add people that I know, usually from the forums and have talked with. However, I know some people who will add someone new to CM just so that the newbie has "someone on their list and can feel like they belong". It's all up to the individual. As for mindless attitudes, I just feel sorry for them that they've let themselves get so jaded, warped, whatever, because there's so much out there to enjoy. If you're sitting around bitching about things, you're going to miss the good stuff.

People either don't seem to get how things work on the internet yet. I should just go and add her to my favorites to Just to Piss her off!!! Oh crap, bad bad bad person that I am, using a bookmark feature to torture innocent girls online! hahahah Maaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!! Since when is it realistic to expect and demand for people to ask permission before adding to favorites! In terms of ADD to Friends list, I totally understand. That why there's an Approval thingy Ma Bob feature built into it..

I'm not going to mention any usernames here. Back several months ago, a new user came wandering into the message boards. They seemed like a decent friendly user that wanted to engage in message exchanges, become part of the online community here. Then, something strange started to unfold... they were block other CM users left and right. The slightest opposition or anything that was expressed that might contridict this person, was a trigger to be blocked. Matter of fact a lot of jokes were being made about who was making it on this persons block list. This person was making proudful posts about blocking everybody. Now, most people tend to use block to get rid of stalkerish, harashing people. There's a reason for Block and Ingore features on Websites and IM clients and whatnot. However, this user was using them in a manner, that well, was not really all that normal. Basically, if you did not agree with this person, Whamo... you were blocked, then this user would go on a rant about how disprespectful so many CM users are. Not mention this user was HiJacking threads with an Agenda at hand. Now, I'm not normally the kind of guy to write Mod11 or anybody a complaint message... I figure I can deal with and take the heat for anything I post. You know if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen kinda of guy. Heat can be a good thing, cause it challenges one to think, rethink about things. It's all part of the personal growing process, if you ask me. But that's my opinion on it. Just using the block feature on somebody who disagrees with me?? That would be a Mindless Attitude!!.. OK, this is in part a small rant of mine. But after all some threads are just a rant, a chance for people to get their Frustration out about something.

I'm often supprised who adds me to their Favourite List and a lot of them have ended up oin my friend's list bedcause I've taken the time to read their porofile, I kmnow them via their posts here and likes what I read. Similarly, People who add me to their friend's list contact me and ask if it is ok. I mighten't know them, but often it is because they read whait I post and like my attitude etc or the like my profile. I'll usually agree and add them to mine too. I'm also amused to see who has visited my profile.. I see no invasion in any of this just noirmal healthy social interaction. What makes you, as an individual, right and her wrong? Is her freedom less than yours? She points out her dislike about those people bookmarking. Shit pisses me off that could be deemed trivial and just one of lifes happening. And now, you point out how invalid you percieve her feelings to be, because she may not understand the ways of the net. So my question and thought is, Why does her ranting and moaning touch you so much and touch your life and/or why do you allow it to? Ranting is good. Complaining lets off steam. the.dark.
