Well lately we have chats with names like CuthuluTentacleSex and authors and screen writers frantically trying to find ways to shock an increasingly blase and media saturated public, poor f*cked out crackwhore that it is.  Time to re-group and realise that less is often more.

Is it more a case of dramatizing or persecuting our fears than expressing our desires?  I'm not sure.  Maybe a bit of both?

Mass media is replacing literature as the medium for this sort of exploration now. How many fetish related episodes of Greys anatomy, CSI, Scrubs, or whatever are out there? Loads.
