Government asks court to block wider testing for mad cow

WASHINGTON — The Bush administration on Friday urged a federal appeals court to stop meatpackers from testing all their animals for mad cow disease, but a skeptical judge questioned whether the government has that authority.

Can`t wait to hear the neo-cons explain this to the American people.

<waits for stupid people to say,"well,you don`t have to buy it, if you don`t want it" or "we don`t need a nanny-state bothering us w/ needless regulations">lol

Obviously,given a choice to protect business or to protect people,the republicans choose business over people.

Hell,in this case,they`re going to court to fight against the interests of consumers,....and with our fucking tax-payer dollars no less.
