Government asks court to block wider testing for mad cow
http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2008-05-09-mad-cow_N.htm

WASHINGTON — The Bush administration on Friday urged a federal appeals court to stop meatpackers from testing all their animals for mad cow disease, but a skeptical judge questioned whether the government has that authority.

Because caution costs money. If there is a hell, hell is not punishment enough. What a total fucking jackass.

Can`t wait to hear the neo-cons explain this to the American people.

<waits for stupid people to say,"well, you don`t have to buy it, if you don`t want it" or "we don`t need a nanny-state bothering us w/ needless regulations">lol

Obviously, given a choice to protect business or to protect people, the republicans choose business over people.

Hell,in this case, they`re going to court to fight against the interests of consumers,....and with our fucking tax-payer dollars no less.

Keep in mind this lady is a Bush Administration appointee.....

Lesson learned :  Don't lean on corporate America---even if they're killing us....

Another example of government and business working together.
