I read a profile and the first thing someone says is to complain. There are too may fakes. There are too many wanabees.  there are too many liars.  There are too many who dont have a recent pic.  Etcetera, etcetera, as Yul Brynner said in the King and I.  My question:  is all this griping going to attract your One?  Do you think that you (we) project our inner light with all this complaining?  this is the internet; fakery abounds.  yes, we may need to talk about these experiences sometime. But, to put that up front, as the first thing another reads - well, that is not going to achieve the desired results.  Think about it.  We have all had bad experiences.

You do know that you are the pot that just called the kettle black, right?

People get oversaturated and they need to vent.  They will either get past it and change their profile or find someone to comiserate with.

You know, I've found that people who whine and complain in their profiles, have a huge chip on their shoulder and whine about their lives---they couldn't see a miracle if it slapped them silly and called them a biscuit---I know at times I come here and complain--no one is perfect, but I rejoice more than I whine---as far as finding the one--nope won't work for Me--too much a portent of things to come. IMHO

When I see a profile that just does nothing but bitch, I figure that person probably has a habit of going into potential relationships with their rose colored glasses firmly superglued onto their eyes. I've been into this since about 1982, and I've had my share, but I tried to learn from them, rather than just get bitter.

People who do nothing but complain in their profiles: handle with caution, if at all.

Well I say we take them all out back and kick the shit outta them.

Think this method will make things better?

I think discussions like this are like fighting over the window seat on the Hindenberg eventually the people will think differently because that is where LIFE is taking them and then there will be those who never change themselves and complaint about everything changing around them.

Yes,

When you get yours I will let you be mine. Other good Merit Badges are the Enlightment Bage you get that one when you achieve True Enlightenment and I want someone to finally have the "Knows how to make HOMEMADE Jams" Merit Badge.

In Fact those three are how I determine a Twue Submissive so get with the Program.

I tend to skip the ones that do too much complaining.  Personally, I don't have a positive reaction to it; it says something about the person.

You can be mine while you make the Jam.... When we have enough Jams to last for awhile We will have to discuss the Enlightenment Badge and The Twue Submissive Badge, Along with a few other Badges that require being Suspended upside down from the backyard tree...... don't worry it won't hurt me at all.

If I am searching ..I would much rather read a profile of a person being their natural selves, rather than it being tailored by the masses as to what we want to see in a profile...as it gives one better insight into the person we are reading about...it may make RedMagic 1's  sub profile   a good or potential  match for your  complaining Dom profile.  When I read some profiles they may set off alarms bells for me and I view that as a positive as it helps in the screening process.  Spelling, grammar, word usage, sentence structure, the complaints, talks about past relationship, profile lengths  .. all becomes useful info when it comes to  screening potential partners... the more natural the profile the more info it provides us about the person writing it..I would much rather see the natural profile than a false front..

I think many times when you read a profile full of negativity,they are profiles of people who have never come onto this message forum and have allowed themselves to vent here..so hence they place it all in their profiles..I think it depends on the way they vent or they length they vent that can make a difference as to what lies beneath....My profile (work of art that it is..:0)..reflects no negativity..why?..because if I feel the need to vent I bring it here...well....on a rare occasion..~wink~..but mostly my vents are taken to the wonderful Dominants/submissives that I talk with on the phone, they help keep me centered,along with my natural attitude of anlyze first before showing my ass..:0)...Tempting
