I've always enjoyed primal play, fighting and takedown play. Coming from a fighting background has given me the confidence and skill to be able to fairly successfully hold my own in this department and have some really in depth play experiences. I've recently experienced a new twist though that adds some interesting moments to this kind of play. Sir is military trained in hand to hand combat. He knows all kinds of holds, takedowns and pressure points(owie!) that make it frustrating (to say the least) for someone like myself who is used to a more straightforward "fighting" approach. It is much different than the way I am used to playing....sometimes more intense even though it may not be as "physical" in a sense (but I'm lovin' it and learning[;)]). Do you have a partner that is trained in such a way, military men, cops, security....and do you enjoy incorporating that into your play?

Yup, me. Sometimes we play the "No pussy until you can subdue the fighting woman who will go for your throat" game. It's fun and great workout for us both.

I just went to a workshop on Rough Body Play by a friend of mine (I don't think he's on here, but I'll alert him to this thread). It was excellent and got me thinking that it might be an enjoyable form of play. Vice

Mistress has a black belt in karate. Although I don't think it's part of her training, I am constantly surprized when She is able to pin me down in bed, prevent me from leaving or getting up until She is ready to let me. I keep on thinking one day I will surprize her or figure out a sudden move, but so far, no matter what I try, I'm at her (unbound) mercy. Sometimes in a room I try to walk around her and She seems -without even moving- to dominate the space, blocking me from going around, ignoring Her or evading Her, until finally I give up and ask if I may go by. That ability to stand Her ground is something She says was learned from her training. Once, when we first met, I asked Her to "do" some karate move on me. She declined saying I might get hurt. After our bed tussles, I haven't asked again.

Master isn't H2H trained but he is a wrestling coach. That can make things pretty interesting too.

A couple of sub friends are great at wrestling. One rule is no smothering with the boobs. Im not into breath play.

My slave is highly trained in unarmed combat. I wouldn't enjoy playing that way with him. He is in excellent condition and much larger then me. He is too controlled to ever "lose it" thankfully.

Honestly, I think it's hot. I like being able to struggle as hard as I can, and having him pin me down with one arm... hahaha >.< Both of us are military, although he has much more hand to hand type training than I do.

This is why I keep ignoring my friends' request to join her at her jiu-jitsu classes.... I'm afraid it might just end up turning me on, and then I'd feel like I was groping her... well maybe it wouldn't be so bad, lol! I love that Hanes commercial though, where the boy and girl are pretty much wrestling each other on the bed. Looks like a fun time!

I was trained in hand to hand when I was with the 82nd and then, when I left the service I continued on with the Tae Kwan Do training that had begun in the military. I've enjoyed using what I learned, at differing levels, with the partners I have had since then. There were a couple that did not enjoy "rasslin' around" but the majority of my partners have. One thing I have found...at least for me and what I recommend to others interested in trying it... is that there has to be some level of intimacy beyond the physical for it to be any good. Your partner has to trust that you are not going to "lose control" (and given that I have been bigger and stronger than most of my partners, that is understandable) and that you are not incorporating any other issues...anger, punishment, abuse, degradation (any of these at a harmful level)...into what is supposed to be, at its most basic, a form of play.

i LOVE resistance play & take downs.. Unfortunately during the first 7 years of my search i never once met a man who was actually stronger than me.. And it feels like a big cop out when you have to hold back just so they don't loose.. giggles And then i met my Master.. a man who can render me completely immobile, within a minute, with just one hand. i thought i was in heaven.. It feels so good to just completely let go and no that there's no way i would ever win. You're right.. Its a primal feeling.. It's pure.. And in my experience it add's heaps to the reality of my vulnerability before Him, blesses it with no limits or boundaries because i AM simply weaker. Because of what it is i find it is incorporated into our play at almost every step.. And i adore it smiles

I've had several years of judo training, and having grown up around the military, had a couple oppourtunities to attend a couple classes on hand to hand as well as a couple range lessons with a couple of gentlemen who, um, let's just say they don't officially exist. All this was before I became a security officer and learned how to integrate this knowledge into handcuffing. So to answer the OP, I have done some H2H RP, and have a couple tricks up my sleeve...and handcuffs in my pocket. [:D]

i haven't had this yet, but it is a fantasy to be able to fight and struggle and just let it all out...just to be held down and rendered helpless...taken so easily.

Yep... why do you 'feel vulnerable'?... because you ARE vulnerable... but that isn't just because I am a damn sight stronger (And have a good deal of Judo training) but also because being in your head you have no place to hide [:D] I can 'take you down' with a look, a tone of voice or even just a change on body language..... but throwing you down is sometimes more fun (Though the bed will never recover)

There are some i just love this type of exchange with and others who would just not consider it their bdsm thing , in those cases i would say obviously all parties would agree in the exchange prior VS a surprise sneak attack .I found some women who could take me down as well even if i gave a hearty effort .Yes i enjoyed it with the right energy compliment between to parties .I did find if it was mismatched some plastic sheeting and oil tended to even the playing field .I also warn some out there that injuries can and do occur with this .One time i was so cought up in the whole exchange i did not notice until the conclusion that i had many scratches all over me from her nails , it looked like i was locked in a dark closet filled with wild feral cats .But it was fun and worth it .Though it was kinda interesting the next day at a pool BBQ when many asked what happened to me .

Oooooo fun fun fun! I love "manhandling" my men! [:D] Recently I visited my switch....didn't have time to play as he had to be up in a few hours for work. I grabbed his wrist and told him what a shame it was that I wouldn't be able to take him then and there....he resisted and reminded me that he was "strong", and started pulling away. A little joint lock to the wrist and I had his arm behind his back, his chest flat on the table and my other hand around his neck pressing his face into the table. I just reminded HIM that it's not always about sheer muscle mass.....[sm=lol.gif] I can't wait to get back into my martial arts training again...pressure points and joint locks rule! [;)]

LOL. Anyone know a source of good big bamboo easy to get to minnesota? I measured a girl for a tie up, and had some slinky little bamboo poles laying around........ stretched her (arm and leg wind) a little and rolled her onto the couch, it was like tossing darts, except not as much physical force......... lol, (a jujutsu guy).

Master is trained in jujitsu. I've been meaning to learn more about it to see if there's any way I can possibly break a hold, but I really don't think there is. lol I've never been with a man as strong as he is, and it's intimidating in such a lovely way.
