Happy Pesach, all!

Here we are, yet again another week of constipation. Let my people go, indeed!

I'm absolutely not very observant at all - besides, with my child still stuck on the other side of the Atlantic, and no family at all in America, it makes no sense to me to celebrate...

I could mail you some charoset and matzoh.

And some potato kugel which is my contribution this year to the family Seder. Alas sadly diminished because 3 of the 5 kids are off in college.

Oh yeah, what kinds of foods do you have at Seder dinners?

Alumbrado -> RE: Happy Passover to our Jewish Friends! (4/19/2008 4:44:40 AM)

Huevos Haminados, sopa de puerro, mimulim, apio con safanoria, bimuelos, and of course, chireta.

LoL.  Half my family is Sephardic, and have the most delicious Passover dishes.   They make their charoset with dates.

So it is appropriate to say "Happy Passover"?

We have a lot of Jews in our company, including quite a few Orthodox, and i never know if it's appropriate to mention a holy day or not... so many of them seem to be observing hardships and tragedies [:o]

Passover is a joyous, celebratory holiday, so there's no reason why anyone shouldn't welcome being told "Happy Passover".  If they don't, they're just grouchy.  :)
