...what is it that happens in most men's minds when they discover you are either a sub or a slave...? i mean i have been contacted by so many so called Doms, only to discover on closer inspection that they have no experience and want you to dominate them...! First of all, i only top my Master on the rare occasion that He requires it. i am a slave, not a Dominatrix, nor would i want to be one. Secondly, what is wrong with basic manners and following D/s protocol? Surely it is just plain wrong to make demands of an already owned slave. i would even suggest that it is bad manners to demand a free sub obeys You just because You are a Dom... Ah, i love old fashioned respect on both sides of the dynamic; it goes a long way in my book. This is not me being bratty, honest, though i admit to being moany lol! Gabrielle x

First of all, I was picturing something else when I read the title. Secondly, the whole "Obey me now plz kkthx" is (mostly) limited to online wankers. Just ignore them, they aren't worth your time. [&:]

I agree with the above post. I've been contacted by many of these so called "Doms". It's sometimes hard to get them to understand so I have taken to purely not responding. I have responded with nothing more than "please read my profile" on several occasions. Everything is laid out quite nicely for you there. It is in no way nonsensical, it is perfectly straight forward, rational and logical and if you do not have the patience to read it all the way through, honestly I don't want to hear from you anyway. I've met some great people on this site that have become good friends. Carried over to msn whom I still talk to and are great fun, but believe me, I've had my fair share of "you're not daddy's little girl". No asshole, I'm not. Nor do I want to be. Just because I'm a submissive, even in a loose sense, does not mean that I'm interested in men double my age. Bah. Now you've got me started! lmao Just understand that it happens to all of us and the best thing to do is ignore them. They're not likely to keep messaging if you don't respond. If you do, usually they end up just being out to get a reaction... Bastards.

Gabrielle x I consider myself to be new to the scene, all my experience is via online and some phone. That said, the submissive who found me and recognized what I had in side me, when she asked me me be her Master... it flabbergasted me. We were good friends already, but that changed our dynamic a lot. She taught me a lot while we were together before she left suddenly; she'd gotten to emotionally involved and promised herself she'd never do that. It was a sad time for me. That said, I believe in basic protocols. I do not have any respect for a Dom/me who orders a sub/slave, whom they do not control, to bow to them. They are jokes. Some people consider my experience a joke, fine. So be it. Yet I have RL pets online who never knew of my lack of RT/RL experience and were just amazed to find out I have none, yet. For me, aside from the hands on, the physical, it's all mental, psychological. I can lift a person up with words and expressed emotions, and I can reduce them with the simple words, "you've disappointed me." As for demands of someone who is actively in a D/s relationship as a sub, or M/s as a slave, they have nothing less than contempt from me. My online pets all have permission to tell such morons to fuck off.

Sweet, another thread complaining about wannabee's. I love these. Here's a thought: ignore your inbox, contact only those 'masterly' profiles you are interested in yourself, and tell them to email you somewhere else. That puts YOU in charge of who you hear from. Don't want to do that? Suffer in silence, please, darlin'. You get what you're askin for, and those Masters/Doms who you're wantin to salivate for like Pavlov's puppies probably don't give two pissants about your inbox woes. Though they might be more polite about it than me. As for protocols, there are none. Some subs are craving exactly what you can't stand, some doms and masters are going to be like kids pitching a fit, some will be 'mature', some will say they'll be utterly inflexible and 'dominant', some will be utterly flexible and 'dominant', and some will see either as being stupid or spineless/masterly or masterful. If you don’t care for this repeated topic, then move on and save your sarcasm for someone who deserves it on a topic of interest to you. There's no such thing as "ds protocol." It's wrong to try and pressure anyone or to presume authority where none exists- doesn't matter what type of relationship it is. It will also still happen in whatever type of life you are in.

I can't answer for anyone else. What goes through my mind when I figure someone as being submissive depends a lot on the circumstances, For the most part, when someone tells me, (or I finally stop playing neutral and accept that wether they know it or not,[It's happened only twice. I am notoriously stubborn when it comes to not judging people] they're submissive. ) I just keep my mouth shut on the topic. Sometimes I'll delve a little further into their psyche (I'm no expert, but I have been known to make lucky guesses.) but, save for a few rare occasions, it's none of my business. As for people making demands of one not in their collar, regardless of wether or not the person they are making demands of is collared by another or not, I find it unseemly and distasteful. But I am bound by my word, a solemn oath that I may not hold ill-will to another person that they have opinions and preferences different than my own. I hope they find happiness in their life, as well as more than a few valuable lessons. They are, in my opinion, in dire need of both.
