He's probably a wannabe who posted on a whim expecting online communication, never a RL. When you actually agreed on a specific day to meet him, he started to bite his nails as he backed up, up & away from you, latching onto the feeble excuse that he provided.

not at all. As it says in my profile, a relationship will not happen overnight. First there will be convos via CM mail, then email/phone then meeting for coffee etc. I make it clear, abundantly clear that i want things to progress at a very slow pace. Our C mails had consisted of feeling out each other's likes/dislikes, and i had responded with great enthusiasm to his messages as we are remarkably alike in what we like and don't like.

What is wrong with sniveling and begging. I think that is an admirable trait in a submissive. I think that some Dom/Dommes think that subs should do it more often.

The bottom line is you didn't swoon and ooh and ahh over him quite the way that he wanted. He didn't communicate with you quite what he was wanting, and then decided on his own that you weren't what he was looking for. Its quite frustrating. Chalk it up to a learned experience, and try to stay away from those that act in such a passive aggressive manner.

I'm getting better at it.

I also want to add to Phoenix that what others are saying may be right. I tend to be proactive in my own communications to see if I could be better in the future and if I can use it as a learning tool for myself rather then always just saying it's the other person's fault. And I'm just a natural Devil's Advocate.
