My Master/Daddy and I have written a thread on this before. I thought I was done with my nightmares thanks to his trick teddybear/blanket. It did work for a while but now, I am starting to have nightmares again. And becoming very defensive.

We were cuddling one day, and something just spooked me and I got real defensive. I hurt him, and he freaked out and I cried and stayed in a corner for a hour and just cried. I hate having the nightmares of my past. Many suggested I go to theapry, and well I have been in theapry all my life.. and it never worked. Medicine never really worked.

I don't know what to do, my Master/Daddy doesn't know that I am still having the nightmares because I can't tell him. I am afraid too. >_<; I don't know what to do.

*Sighs*

Actually the first thing you should do, imho, is to tell your Master what is going on with you, so he will know all there is to know about your health, both physically and mentally. I have to ask, are you on any kind of pain pills or sleeping pills? Those types of pills cause severe nightmares, at least they do with me. A little more information would be required for my advice right now. But I am a firm believer in a submissive telling her Master/Mistress all there is to know about her/him.

Hugs,

MoGa

I am not on any medicines. I don't take any. I take like tylendol when I have a headache but that is all.
I have nightmares of abuse when I was younger. I was severally abused, emotionally, physically, and sexually.

I have nightmares from abuse as well...seem to go through periods where they are worse...then they seem to go away for a while and then come back...some medications I've found help me sleep more deeply so that if I do have nightmares, I don't remember them. Have you treid Remeron? Klonopin? Those two worked pretty good for me.

At one point of my life I was on so much medicine I didn't know what I WAS taking. But I don't like medicine, it makes me scary. >_<;

Kitten...I have to agree with you about the drugs... most anti anxiety meds are addictive and dangerous, and I get SOOO sick of having prescriptions pushed at me and mine.
Have you ever done any reading on "lucid dreaming"? It's a technique of controlling and changing your dreams. I learned to do it as a child and it stopped my nightmares. I also taught it to my children. Google it and see what you think.

Can you tell if you are dreaming or not? B/c sometimes...I can...and like...in the dream...I just close my eyes and repeat "wake up, wake up, wake up" over and over until I do wake up...I'm getting better at that lately...my dreams used to be so real that I couldn't tell the difference between what was real and not though.

My nightmares feel like I am really having the things done to me again, and I wake up sometimes my arms are hurting or legs. Sometimes even my pelvic area. It sucks. I don't know what to do... I am afraid to tell my Daddy/Master, but I can tell him anything but this is something I am afraid too. We had post a thread on this before.. >_<;

The medicines for depression, and mixed anxiety are terrible. They make you sick, and they are very hypnotic. If you really look at the intructions, it tells you they are hypnotic well in doctors terms anyway. >_<; I need friends that understand where I am coming from... and I have  none that will... >_<;

I would say anti-depressants, but they make mine worse.... Therapy for trauma... But yeah, I've had all that too. You need to tell him about your nightmares, what they're about, and your trauma.. it'll help. Maybe have him wake you up if you moan/whimper in your sleep... I wish I had someone to do that, it can help train you a bit. Schiff Knock-Out (herbal supplement) helps me not have them somewhat. But if you're like me, those techniques won't help - I'm completely powerless and have zero control in all of my dreams. And I never ever ever know that I am dreaming. If you do, maybe you can change something about them.

I have been on so many meds out there and I was only addicted to two of them. Effexor and Geodon...awful withdrawal with those two LOL at one point I was popping Vistaril like candy LOL my psych said I could take 6 every 4 hours as needed for anxiety...LOL it didn't even make me drowsy either >.< generally the recommended dose is two...it's similar to benadryl but prescription.

Can you tell your Daddy/Master in a letter ??... Perhaps that would be easier than face to face..... You need someone to talk to about this and he is the one that can help you most other than a therapist ... at least in my opinion.

If I were your Dominant I would want to know what was affecting you so and would be very disappointed if you couldnt tell me.

I finally just told my Daddy/Master. He is a little upset that I didn't tell him sooner, but I did tell him. He is happy that I told him but he is upset that I didn't tell him sooner.

I will say this MEDICINE IS EVIL! No medicine, for this kitten/daddy's girl.
